Welcome to our Winter Break blog! We spent one or two class periods writing in the USN Lower School Technology for Learning Lab, in mid-January, about what we did over our Winter Break. Over the break, I stayed home, but I had an amazing time! My aunt and uncle came to my house, and so did my baby cousin Celia.It was so cool being able to spend New Years with my whole family because I don’t usually get to see my aunt and uncle and my baby cousin Celia. I also loved being able to sleep in in the morning, and not have to worry about getting ready for school. I loved being able to have play dates, sleepovers, and going to bed late. I loved the break!!

Over winter break, I went to Jacksonville, FL to see my cousins. My aunt had just had a baby and they named her Claire. She was now about 2 months old. I got to give her a bottle and after I gave it to her she fell asleep on my lap. She kept on smiling in her sleep. Once she woke up I put her on my lap. Then my other cousin, Zach, who is 3 years old came in and he wanted me to play Star Wars, on the Game Cube with him. He handed me the controller even though I was still holding Claire. So I had to hold a baby and play Star Wars at the same time. It was very hard! But the baby and Zach were both very happy so I didn’t want to change that! I just kept on doing exactly what I had been doing and they both stayed happy.

Over winter break I went to Atlanta to see my cousins, my two aunts and my 3 uncles and his friend on my mom’s side of the family. My cousins are one and two and they are really cute. I had a lot of fun because I don’t see them very much.
I went to the Music City Bowl in Nashville it was Kentucky Wildcats and Florida State Seminoles. Because my grandparents live in Kentucky and my grandad works there.We stayed at Opryland Hotel and my aunt and my cousin on my dad’s side of the family.
I also went to my other grandparents’ lake house.

At winter break I jumped on the sofa when my mom was not looking so I would not get in trouble. I was caught a few times but I still did jump on the sofas. I lots and lots of fights with my brother which was kind of fun but not really, just kind of fun. We had guests come from Washington DC and from India .We watched tons of movies but for most of them I fell asleep. They were the really good movies except one which stunk and I was happy that that I fell asleep when that movie was going on. Soon I was thinking about going back to school which I didn’t feel like going back to for some reason. I was then worrying about a rat which got in our house. We really want it out. I think we are going to get a mouse trap. Hopefully. Even better I found it in a drawer. The next day was school.

Over winter break I stayed in Nashville but I had family friends over. But they sure are fun! Their names are David and Matthew. So when they were about to go we went over to play some football, we played to 28 at first we played tackle but we kept on scoring on the return. So we switched to two-hand-touch. It was 21 to 21 it was our ball. Evan (my brother) passed the ball I caught it! I ran so fast when I stopped at the touchdown line i could feel my heart racing. I won the game!

This winter break I went to Texas to see my cousins, Aunt, Uncle, and Grandparents. We all had a late Christmas at my grandparent’s house. One of my cousins got a my twin doll. One of my cousins got a transformers car. My brother got a train suit. And I got an iPod nano. We all brought our heleys to my grandparents house and so after we opened our presents we went outside to heely. We stayed in Texas for a week but my dad left three days before us.

In winter break I went to Germany. When we first got onto the plane to Germany, I just sat there and slept all the way to New York and then my dad woke me up when we saw the Statue of Liberty. Then a few minutes later we landed and went to the admiral’s club. We first got my laptop out and went on the internet. Then we got out and my sister kept going on and on about how much I loved these crackers and then we took some onto the plane to Germany and we played and slept for a long time. When we landed we got picked up by my uncle and cousin. When we got to the village we lived in it was New years eve and we slept for a few hours. Then went to a pizza place with a gym and we played for a few hours and had pizza and coke. Then we went to a hill were a giant bonfire was going on and we shot up some fire works and then we went to sleep for 2 hours. Then we went skiing on a black diamond and after a few days went home.

Over winter break first my brother and I went to Missouri and we opened presents with my dad’s side of the family. But we opened presents two days early.
And then the day after Christmas we went to my mom’s side of the family, me and my brother stayed with my cousins until my mom and her boyfriend got there and the day they got there we got to open even more presents! But the bad thing was that the next day my mom had to leave. But my brother and I stayed at my cousins’ house and had so much fun! But the week flowed by, and suddenly it was Friday and we had to go. The good thing was my 5 year old cousin Wyatt got to come back to Nashville with us for the weekend (he is soooooooooo cute).
And that was my winter break.

Over winter break my family stayed in Tennessee. The first day I juust played around. I got to sleep in late yaa! On Christmas Eve I baked gingerbread cookies; it was so fun. I frosted them too with little eyes and a little nose and a smile. And we put them on a sled for Santa. I went to sleep. I woke up at 5:15 in the morning and Santa had come. I ran down stairs as fast as I could and sitting on the ground was a box and in that box was a LAPTOP!!!! I could not believe my eyes! Santa had gotten the only thing I wanted for Christmas. I got alot of candy, games, clothes and a scooter. After I had played with my toys we went over to my grandparents house (which is in Nashville) and I played with my cousin. We had to wait to eat dinner because it was not made. I was so hungry. I was waiting and waiting and then my uncle came and they could talk and talk. Finally they left and we ate dinner I was glad that dinner was over then we could open presents. I opened up my gifts: I got two webkinz, one Racoon and one Elephant. And I got money!!!!
On New Years Day it was my half birthday. Yaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went to New Orleans this winter break; it was pretty stormy but it was fun. They have a pool I went swimming twice. We made peppermint chocolate bark (the candy) yum yum and we had mashed potatoes and chicken for Christmas dinner. We went on walks; it was nice we watched alot alot alot of TV. We went to church on Christmas Eve then when we got home we opened presents from family members. I had picked out the present that my sister got me, and my mom got me a book, my dad gave me new i-pod head phones, my aunt who wasn’t there gave me a t-shirt she had designed. 2 days after Christmas we left New Orleans.
I had alot more fun after that: Ice skating, hanging out, going to lunch, and just lazing around. And before I knew it the break was over.

I went to a state park called Montgomery Bell with my friends on new years eve and we stayed in a suite at the hotel. We did a fashion show and we put lots of hair die in our hair. When we went to the pool there were toys and there was a mini boat and rafts! It was so fun. We all helped make the cake. It looked like a rainbow made of m&ms and clouds made out of marshmallows. We made sundaes and watched the ball drop. We played truth or dare alot!!!!! The first person to fall asleep we were going to do a prank on. So I ended up putting lipstick on someone’s face. In the morning we had doughnuts for breakfast but I just had popcorn. We went to the pool again. We were going to play tennis but it was so cold outside that we decided not to. My mom said we should do this every year. Then we all went to my friend’s house for another sleep over–her house is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We watched the Simpsons Movie and Pee-Wees Big Adventure and we finished 3 crossword puzzles. On Sunday I got to go horseback riding and I got to jump for the first time I was so exited!

Over winter break I went to Chattanooga and I went bow and arrowing. It was so fun. After that I got to AIM and my friends on AIM are Ian and Jeremy. After that I got some hot chocolate with marshmallows and that is my winter break.

Over Winter Break I went to Canada and had a blast!! I have been skiing there for about 5 years and it has been great fun skiing but this year I tried snowboarding!! I got a fantastic teacher named Cludie. I first went over to the beginners’ slope and and learned to walk. I had a hard time getting used to the feeling on my feet, but after a minute or two I got used to it. Then I went up the conveyor belt which was weird because I was so used to the chair lifts! When I got to the top I learned to go down the mountain with my toes up and holding her hands. When I got to the end of the mountain I leaned how to get up when I fall. I went up again on the conveyor belt ready to go down. She got on her snow board and showed me how to turn as I was going down the mountain. I did as she had said to do but I fell about 9 times! She said it was very normal, though. I went up the conveyor belt and down the mountain about a million times more (not really a million times, but it felt like it) until I could go down the mountain great. Before I knew it the day was over. That was an amazing day!!

For winter break I stayed home with my family. I love birds so I got a bird feeder. Most of the time I just watched TV and played video games.

During Winter Break, after New Years, I went to Knoxville for a while to visit my cousins and grandparents. One thing I did there was go to an art museum. In one room was miniature rooms that were really cool. In fact when I went to Chicago once and I saw miniature rooms just like the ones in Knoxville, by the same person. In one of the miniature rooms, hanging by a door were witches’ balls, which were supposed to keep away the witches. Another room in the art museum had photographs. One photograph was called “Ladies Man.” And it was a picture of a chair, with a black bookshelf behind it. The bookshelf had corks on it, and each of the corks were labeled with a name of a woman. There were tons of corks and names. And I’m pretty sure the most popular name was Julie. The last room in the museum that I went in was a kids exploratory room that had paper to draw on, a doll house and a huge light board. The light board was a giant black wooden board which had some kind of light behind it. You put different colored tubed shaped pieces of plastic into holes in the board and they light up. Me and my cousin made an orange fish with the light things. When we finished the fish my cousin sneezed and she knew my grandma had tissues, so she went to get a tissue and she was going to leave then to get to horseback riding lessons. So I went with her and my grandparents. I wish I had stayed because I didn’t get to see that much of the museum, but the part that I did see was really cool.

Over winter break I drove to Chicago. I went to see all of my friends there. First I saw my friend Jonah. We played with his Wii. Next we had a Lightsaber duel.
In the evening we went to the Bulls game. George went to the Bulls game, too. I got to throw one of the soft balls into the little net. Instead I accidentally hit the Fox news reporter! The Bulls won 103-101.
Then I saw my friend Daniel Cole. We have been friends since we were really little. He got a new Ping-Pong table. We played a lot of Ping-Pong. I got to play in the snow in -5 degrees. We did some sledding. It was the best trip EVER!!!

I went to Atlanta. We went to go see the Nutcracker. I played a new game and the game was called Frogger’s Quest. And I can never get past level 3 on Slick Willy’s riverboat. We traveled for four hours and then we made it to Atlanta, and that’s all!

I went to Florida and we stayed with my grandparents and on one night after dinner we went fishing. And then on Wednesday we had a sleepover party at my cousins’ house. We played with their dogs on the next day and for half of the night their dog Chewy slept under the bed with us. And then we picked up the cats ’cause we caught them from under our cousins’ parents’ bed. They like to hide under their bed. And then we had dinner with them.

Over Winter Break I went to Atlanta, GA to see my cousins. I played with my cousins. We played on the computer and we went to my grandma’s house. We opened presents from Christmas and then went back to my cousin’s house. Then we watched a movie. And then we came back to Nashville. I went out to eat one time with my Dad. My Dad and I played a little hockey. And then I went to my Mom’s house. The next day I went to a little league hockey game. Then I went back to my house and played Play Station 2. I picked up my friend, Sam, and we went to a Predators vs. Minnesota Wild Hockey game.

Over Winter Break I went to my old home in New Orleans. I had beignet and I dipped them in hot chocolate and it was so yummy. I also saw my old friends. Then I went to my Grandma and Grandpa’s farm house for Christmas, even though I am Jewish! At the farm house, I waited for Santa to come. I went to a lot of really fun places. I also went to my other Grandma and Grandpa’s house and we played in the snow and it was really fun. Then I went to the North Carolina mountains.

Over Winter Break I went to my Grandma and Grandpa’s house in Decatur, Alabama. When we were there I watched Ninja Turtles. We ate lunch there too. The next morning I woke up and I got to have sorbet after breakfast! Then I sat with my Dad on our big chair and we watched Ninja Turtles again. I went to my Aunt and Uncle’s house and saw my cousins. I got to have an early Christmas with them because I was going to be back in Nashville for the real Christmas. The next morning I came back to Nashville and saw my Mom! The next day my Dad took Che somewhere and my Mom and I went to a fancy place and we got out finger and toe nails painted!

Ove the break I went to my gramma’s in Virginia and I saw a lot of my cousins. One night we went iceskating and we played a lot of games in the arcade. We went to go see a movie, National Treasure, Book of Secrets. I liked it alot. We went to my cousin’s house and we played Xbox 360. It was fun. He played Halo, and it was really cool–he beat it!

Over Winter Break I went to my Grandma’s house and I got to open my Christmas present and I got a Nintendo. I played with it the rest of the day. I played with my cousins, Penny and Meg. I got to go ice skating two times over the break. It was the best Christmas break. I got to eat Cotton Candy at the Ice Skating Rink in Arkansas. I can’t wait to go back there next year. After my trip, I got sick but my Mom let me have lots of ice cream! So, being sick wasn’t that bad! I got to eat a lot of Cinnamon buns over Winter Break!

Hi There! This Winter Break Jack, my parents and I went skiing in Steamboat,Colorado. I went to ski and see my cousins Ashton (8) and Colin (4).
Their family skis and snowboards. Ashton snowboards and went to snowboard school just for 2 days and already knows how to do a 360!!! Colin skis and has won 4 ski races and got some prize ribbons! That is so great for him.
Their mom started snowboarding with Ashton while their dad skis.
Jack and I Have improved so much we are going down blues like never before! Call him Speedy Jack!!! He is doing real well.
I think I have improved ALOT. I have done so better. I am skiing down blues sooooo good. I am really excited for my birthday. it is in 1 day and we are going to ski on it.
My Dad skis down black diamonds with my Uncle Todd while my mom skis with my Aunt Nikki.
That was a great way to finish the end of 2007 and end being 1 digit. If you ever go skiing try it cause you will have a blast!!!

What I did over winter break was…Got an xbox360 and a game called burnout revenge, played club penguin for some time, I also played some basketball and stuff like that. Another thing I did was found an elf hiding in my house on the front hall table. The last place I saw him which he still is is on another table holding our candy canes. Mostly red and green ones–I only like the gold; it tastes like butterscotch
Other other things were I played my Gameboy DS but mostly I played computer and had some sleepovers.

This winter break was awesome. I went to Egypt and hung out with some friends from different trips. On New Years me and my friend got to do fireworks. It was fun but one hit me on the head. I also went to a place called Fayum and rode horses. At one point my horse galloped and I almost fell off. I when I got back to Cairo I went to a club and went horseback riding again. It wasn’t nearly as fun because they held me. I cant wait to go back to Egypt!!!!

Over winter break i played a few soccer games in Franklin. The games were very fun because it was an indoor tournament. The first game we tied 3-3 and then in 1 hour we played another game and we didn’t do so well. We lost that game to Brentwood 10-0 . Then we drove home and I watched the Titans game.

Over winter break I … stayed home but I had a great time. I went to my Grandparent’s house everyday, saw all my family, watched the ball drop in New York at my grandparents house, went to sleep overs and had a couple myself. I also got a Wii. On New Years day my Family went over to my grandparents house and my grandparents cooked breakfast. And thats what I did over winter break.

Over winter break I watched the ball drop in New York on New Year’s Eve; it was exciting to count down till 2008!!! I also saw my friends!
I got a new i-Pod video nano for Christmas, and I got a Wii! It was also my sister’s birthday and we went to Bricktop’s for dinner.

Winter break was awesome for me. I went to build-a-bear with my best friend Emily it was so much fun!!!! Later me and Sydney went to the Apple Store and
we saw Mary and we said “we won’t play with the iPhones we won’t play with the iPhones…. WE HAVE TO PLAY WITH THE IPHONES!!!!!!! Sydney slept over and we could not sleep!! At Christmas I got so much clothes and I got a lot of books. On New Years Eve I went to Emily’s house, and I almost forgot: On winter break we had to put my 18 year old white terrier to sleep. It was sooooooooo sad and depressing, and I cried for a long long long time.

Over winter break my cousin and grandmother came to my house. We had fun going to the Grinch made in ice. My grandmother made eggnog and gumbo.
When it was Christmas I got a NintendoDS. For the games to go with that i got the Sims Petz2 and Nintendogs. My sister liked to play with Nintendogs and my cousin played the Sims Petz2. i barely got to play on it. For dinner I had gombo and ham. I love ham and i had tons of it. I also had lots of popcorn over winter break.

Over winter break I stayed home with my family. We hosted Christmas and had lots of guests. I remember redoing the nativity with Marge. I also saw a movie with my mom. We saw Alvin and the Chipmunks. Also I had my Christmas concert for choir I had a small solo.
For Christmas I got some really nice things. One thing I got was a new watch. I had a great break!

Over winter break I went on a plane to LAS VEGAS! We rented a car it was a Hyundai Sonata. we drove to the hotel Circus Circus. We saw a juggling by ‘Gumol’ then we saw acrobatics.

I went to Michigan. I went to see my cousins Abi and Amy. I went to see my grandma and grandpa and I played in the snow and it was super cold and I made a snowman and a snowgirl. After that I had to go to sleep. After I went to sleep, I ate breakfast and lunch and I had a party. Because Michigan doesn’t stop Christmas and then on Sunday my cousin invited me to dinner. Dinner was closed because I don’t think it was opened when it was dark out so I had to look around at the Christmas lights and then I went to eat lunch at a wonderful place and after that we opened presents.

I went to Florida with my whole family! And I went to the beach and they were making a sandcastle. My favorite restaurant was a Chinese restaurant, and I got to watch them make it and I ate chicken. And then I went back home and it was dinnertime and I ate dinner, then I went to bed.

I played Star Wars on my PS3 and I worked on math. I visited CJ and I spent the night. We played on his wii, because I got the same thing! My favorite wii game is Spiderman!

My grandma and grandpa came over to visit for a long time. It was in December. They went back to Birmingham, and then it was on January 1st and I missed them alot, and that’s all.

I opened presents and my mommy got me some stuffed animals and stuff from crystals.com. I saw someone that I don’t see alot, my Mimi, my grandmother. My giant snake that I got is my favorite stuffed animal!

I watched the penguins dive in the water and watched the penguins parade, in the Scotland zoo. I got to buy a penguin eraser! I did like the break!

A lot of people babysat us. We played games. We celebrated Jesus’ birthday. I got a stuffed animal dog and I got a rocket thing that shoots up. My favorite thing was shooting that rocket up.

I saw some of my friends from Illinois . I went pottery painting at a place called “Your Fired!” And I went to the Bulls game in Chicago. It was the first game with the new coach. The Bulls won 103-101!

I played with my cousin Lena who had a sleepover one day before. We were in California. I went to the beach and I went into the ocean, it’s because I did go really far. I made a lot of sandcastles, easy!

I went to Kansas City and I saw the Titans play the Chiefs, at Chiefs. I went to the college basketball Hall of Fame; I did a broadcast there. Kansas was playing Ohio State in basketball and we went, to the Sprint Center. The Sprint Center is attached to the Hall of Fame. I pulled down my brother’s pants when we got home.

I sold Girl Scout cookies. I rode my new bike around the park It’s pink! I liked being able to sleep late. We went to see my grandma in Georgia. I played with my friends.

I went to Los Angeles, California. I stayed at my aunt’s house. We knitted. I went with my grandmother to the Hello Kitty Shop. She bought me a binder. I got a notebook and three packs of stickers. I saw my little cousins!

I went to Springfield, MI and stayed 3 nights. My parents and my bro got sick. After we got home I carved some coconuts. This tree in my yard was dead and my parents were afraid that it would fall on my house so they got these tree people to cut it down, and it had maggots inside!

I went to Utah and skied Powderhorn and Moonbeam. And had a good condo. My brother was really kooky. I had a hard time keeping up whith his blabbing–it was annoying. This winter I went to my grandmother’s house. I got a Nintendo DS, I discovered George Washington is my 2nd cousin 10 times removed, and I started skateboarding! My dad and I set up a bowl pool! It was VERY, VERY fun!

The Merrick family had a great one. Miranda sang “Oh Holy Night” solo at the big Christ Church Cathedral annual Christmas pageant, then went off early in the break and sang at Disneyworld with the USN HS Chorus (the only out-of-Florida-state group at the holiday event) and returned to us for a wonderful, fun Christmas of family dinners, visits, and a beautiful Christmas morning at our new home in West Meade. Colin and I took a 3 mile hike one brisk morning in the wooded ridge behind our house, and on the 30th, he took off to Denver to ride up to learn to snowboard with his cousin John at Beaver Creek Lodge, then spent two days on the slopes honing his considerable skills. It was his first time flying unaccompanied, and it was an expensive trip, representing most of his Christmas (and birthday) gifting from his parents and his grandparents. He left us 11 years old and returned a healthy, strong 12 year-old.
Lee Ann and I stayed home and painted a much-in-need “wii room” (yes, we actually call it that) and enjoyed some sleeping in and late night movie watching. It’s funny, just before coming back to school I was pining for retirement, thinking I could get used to a slower pace. But getting back to school and into the classroom amongst all these thriving, inquisitive, young-uns, really makes me appreciate my work.

I had a great winter break. I celebrate Christmas and I saw The Water Horse and Alvin and the Chipmunks 2 times!! My parents got HUGE presents and I got little ones. My grandparents came to visit us. Phoebe and Max [2 of my cats] played with the gift decorations! It was funny! We have a really big tree! I got to put on the star.

This winter break I stayed home. But my grandparents did come here from Canada. They stayed for the first week but left for the second. On the second week I played with somebody everyday! One day my parents let my sister and I and my friend go to this village close to my house. Since my parents were not there, we stayed out for about three and a half hours!!! We got to go to a restaurant, an old bookstore, a little place called Pangea, and a playground!!! The three of us started out with about thirty dollars each, and we came back with only a few cents!!! When we came back our friends mom took us ice skating; that was fun, too. And then When we finally came home we finally got dinner that was awesome!! This winter break might be the best ever

Over Winter break I went to Manhattan. It was so cool! The 3 hour flight seemed shorter than it would seem. Our hotel was 114 YEARS OLD! It was called the Waldorf Astoria. It was in walking distance from Rockefeller center. The Christmas tree was huge! I wonder how tall it really is? We went to the top of Rockefeller Center. It was 70 stories high! It was freaky! When you look down it’s so scary. We had lost our luggage on the flight because the plane was too heavy. We tried hot chocolate all over the place! At a restaurant at the hotel and at Rockefeller Center. The best was the hotel hot chocolate. Our last night there we went to a five star steakhouse. This rare steak cost $175.00 for 8 ounces!
When we flew home at 8:45 in the morning I was so tired. But when we got home it was CHRISTMAS! For Christmas I got Webkinz pug, a remote control airplane, a wallet, the new ipod nano and some sizzlers. Christmas Rocked this year!

On winter break I went to Indiana and had Christmas. I got a remote controlled helicopter, solar system, books, a chess game, boggle, and a Webkinz. After that I played with the helicopter and it broke in two hours! Then we drove all the way back to Nashville. It took 6 Hours. I watched Pirates Of The Caribbean Dead Mans Chest. And then we finally got home and I played with my Nintendo D.S. The game I was playing was the new Super Mario Bros.

Over winter break I drove to North Carolina for Christmas and to visit family. The day after Christmas my mom, my sister and I drove back to Tennessee.
1 day later I was on a plane to California with a layover in Texas. When I got to California my dad picked up the rental car we drove to the wild animal park, and when we were ready to leave we drove to our hotel. The next day we went to Seaworld and saw Shamu, dolphins, sharks and my favorite–sea lions and sea otters. My favorite thing was seeing the sea otter that could walk on his hind legs while carrying a Pepsi can around. The next day we went to the famous San Diego Zoo with the baby panda. The next day I had to say good bye to San Diego. And that’s the story of my winter break!

Over the winter break I had my first ever basketball game! We went to a gym in David Lipscomb. There my team got our uniforms and had a 15 minute scrummage. Our uniforms were light blue and white. They were way too baggy! Anyway,they were not keeping score but we were. Our team beat them by a lot but I cannot remember the score.
I also had a great Christmas. I got a lot of chocolate and candy. One of my favorite presents was a webkinz reindeer from my brother. I named him Blitzen. One of the presents my dad gave my mom was in a reindeer face box. This year my family did not get out the Christmas tree but we did get out my dad’s sister’s wooden figures, the carousel, and other Christmas decorations. It was a wonderful winter break.

Over winter break, I stayed home and celebrated Christmas, and it was a blast! When our parents were giving our presents it almost filled up the whole room completly. For New Years I went to Molly O’s birthday and we went to a hotel and it was awsome!! And after Molly’s birthday we went to Nora’s house on January 1! And my mom’s birthday was on the same day as I went to school on January 7 and I was so excited!
Most of my family and my cousins their birthdays are mostly in January and February!! And while I was at Molly’s house my family and my cousins were at my house they had a huge party and watched a couple movies and at Christmas we ate chicken, chips, cake and of course opened all of our presents! I’ve had an awesome time, the whole time I have had an great time on winter break!! And at the hotel at Molly’s party we decorated the whole room and it took a long time to take it down in the morning. Well, I hope I have a great time next year too!! And I hope I will have a great b-day because my birthday is January 19th yeah!!!

Over winter break I went to Knoxville to see my mom’s side of the family and to see my friend Stephany. There was a party at my aunt’s house. Stephany was there. My aunt had glow in the dark make-up; we also found dresses. We put on the dresses and the make-up and put on red stuff that looked like blood under our mouths. We looked like vampires and we went down and put teeth marks on people with the stuff that looked like blood. We also rode around on a broom.

I leveled up Pikachu to 29! When he was a level 28 he attacked a level 33 tiger and died. If my dad would’ve been there he would have killed it!

There was this banging noise outside my living room and it was weird for Santa to be making that noise but a mouse wouldn’t make a noise that loud so I decided it was Santa. When I went to Germany I went skiing but it was my first time skiing and I fell down alot. I saw my cousins, Philip and Julia and I got their card from New Years Eve. We went on a boat ride to a big castle and we saw pictures of this German king who spent all his money and ran out of money on the seventh day and on the seventh day he was killed. We got to see Sunny and my brother’s godfather and my godfather and on the way home the plane went really low so we could see the ocean and I saw dolphins!

I went to FL with my family and we stopped in Orlando because we had two flights And when we stopped at our hotel it was closed because it was New Year’s Eve so we went to the Hampton Inn instead. I went to London and Paris. I went to Notre Dame, the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, and Monet’s Water Lilies. For Christmas I got a iTunes gift card. In London I went to Madame Tussaud’s and the Salvador Dali museum. Me and my brother started a song, it goes like this: BT that freakds me out BT BBT over and over again. I went to my brother’s basketball game. It was in Mississippi. The rest of the time I was at home. I went to see the movie National Treasure. I also found out that for spring break I was going to the Caribbean. We went there last spring break. But this winter break it was my cousin’s Bat Mitzva. Over winter break I went to Florida. It was fun. My family went to see my grandparents and my cousins. We did lots of stuff. Like fishing, stingray feeding, swimming, and other stuff.

This winter I went to Miami to see my cousins. We went fishing every day and night. On the last night we went night fishing and there was a lake behind their back yard. I caught a DUCK, 6 fish, and 4 turtles.
We also went to the beach on CHRSITMAS EVE. First we went to the ocean and then we went to a heated swimming pool. We played with a beachball and played water volleyball then we stole cookies from our parents on accident NOT. Then we went to the pool again then we had a party.

This winter break I went and saw a lot of movies. One of the movies I saw was The Water Horse. For Christmas I Got a Nintendo DS and a webkin and some other stuff. On Christmas day my grandpa came over for breakfast and we had pancakes and eggs. Later we went over to my dad’s friend’s house and had dinner; it was soup.

Over Winter Break, I went to Texas, where most of my family live (except me, my Mom, my Dad, my Brother, and my Baby Sister). First I went to San Antonio to visit my Grandparents for a few days. Then I went to the Rio Grande Valley, to visit my other Grandparents for Christmas. I got a ton of presents like Dragonfly, a huge pokemon set, and Nerf Dart Tag.
Then I went back to San Antonio. My Grandad found a dog on the street–she was attacked by a gang of dogs and a car ran over her leg. He named her Bitta in German that means “thank you.’ She is a German Shepherd.

Over Winter Break I went to Princeton, NJ. I saw my cousins and grandmother, and grandfather. I had ice cream when I was there. I spent Christmas there. I got an American Girl doll for Christmas. Over Winter Break, I drove from Tennessee to Kentucky to Indiana. I stayed in Indiana for one night and then we drove to Michigan. I stayed in Michigan for 5 days. Christmas was one of the days. For Christmas, I got an American Girl doll. Her name is Ivy Ling. While I was in Michigan, I went sledding and skiing, and I played with two of my cousins. Then, I went to Ohio and then into Pennsylvania. I stayed in Pennsylvania for three days. When I was in Pennsylvania, I played with three of my cousins. I stayed at my dad’s parent’s house and I went to church with my dad’s family. I got to see all of my cousins over winter break, and that was cool! On New Years Eve, I drove from Pennsylvania to Maryland to West Virginia and then to Virginia then into Tennessee. I saw the ball drop!

My family watched a movie called the Golden Compass! It was about a girl that went to the polar bear’s palace. But her soul was an animal. But they came upon a building that kills people. Then there was an army of soiders. They were the bad guys. The polar bear killed most of the army. Then they lived hapily ever after.
At Christmas, there was a box that only had a note in it. That was Santa’s present. It said: dear kaili and Kevin, go to the fridge if you promise to work together. So we went to the fridge. I saw a note that said: go to the fireplace. So we went to the fireplace. Kevin (my brother) found a note that said: go to your father’s under wear drawer.

My winter break was great! My cousins Christian and Nicholas from California (San Diego) came to visit. At first it wasn’t that fun. When Christmas came we got all kinds of stuff. I got new Wii games and some other stuff. Then we went to Gatlinburg to see my dad`s concert. We went to the aquarium and there were tons of fish. When we got home I had my first basketball game and we won 29 to 23 then my cousins left. It was one of the best winter breaks ever!

On Christmas morning over winter break I got a mushroom [gymnastics equipment], a mini parallel bar set [more gymnastics equipment], an iPod Nano the new generation and a really good book. My mom dad and my brother each got a new bike and my brother also got a new set of golf clubs. A little after, before school started, we got Yugioh Nightmare Troubador, Chibi-Robo and Zelda and the phantom hourglass! In chibi-robo we are ranked number 1, in Yugioh Nightmare Troubador I got yugi’s deck recipe and in Zelda and the phantom hourglass my brother beat the game! I have all three spirits and I just saved Zelda from the ghost ship. She was turned to stone and the life force was sucked out of her. Now I have to face Bellum in the final boss battle to restore the ocean king’s power so he can save Zelda.

Over winter break I went to the Smokey Mountains, for four days. I went to ALOT of comedy shows with my cousins and my uncle! And the Hotel served breakfast!! BUT they only served sausage for one day out of the four days that we were there. My grandmother, my great grandmother, three of my aunts, one of my uncles, and three of my cousins were there with us!
I think the best part was that we were there on New year’s eve!! And instead of staying the whole time in the mountains we also went to Gatlinburg!!!, but all we did in Gatlinburg was ice skate and get dip’n dots! The worst part of going ice skating was it was on top of a mountain so we had to go up this big glider thing…. I forgot what it was called!

I went to my nana and papa’s house and I played with my favorite cousins of the whooooooole family. And I played in an indoor pool with my favorite of all the cousins, Lillian. I really love Lillian. We have a lot in common.
I played with my favorite aunt, Aunt Mar. Her real name is Margaret but we just call her Aunt Mar. I stayed for a week at my nana and papa’s house and then I went to my other grandparents’ house. We call them grandmomma and granddaddy. There’s a path that goes through my grandmomma and granddaddy’s garden and it’s fun to walk through it. So me and my brother pretended this cool little game that we like to play. I can’t remember what it was but ask Steven, that’s my little brother. On the way back from my grandmomma and granddaddy’s house we had lunch with my nana and papa.
And then I just had a fun time playing at home!

Some of my dad’s friends came over with their children. We played soccer and basketball, and football. I played their DS too. I went to see the new house we are building, it’s pretty close to my house now. I went ice skating with my dad and my sister. They brought out the Zamboni and I went on the ice and got wet! I watched TV and made my Wii character on my new Wii. My favorite game is Wii bowling!!! I made a really small guy with an afro. He’s fat and has a mole and I made Harry Potter. I got a mini-pottery wheel and I got hoop knitting. I wrestled with my big dog named Angus. I had a sleepover with Gracie at her house and I couldn’t fall asleep so I tried sleeping on the floor and that didn’t work. I tried sleeping in the bathroom and that didn’t work. I tried sleeping on the opposite end of the bed and that didn’t work. But finally I fell asleep. In the morning we made puzzles and we went to her country club to have breakfast and I had French Toast. We watch Shrek the Third and danced to some of the music. We got to put our feet by the fire and warm up our feet while we were watching the movie.
I went to my grandmothers house and I got a gift card in the Christmas tree that was for Justice Just for Girls which is a clothing store. I only ended up buying four things there because it was very expensive. I got magnetic earrings in my stocking. I also got Hello Kitty socks and a Hello Kitty doll!

During winter break I went to India. I went to a place called Snow World. There was a slide made out of ice. It was in a building they froze the room below zero, more than 20 below. There was a big igloo and the snow was good packing snow for snowball fights. I went with my cousins and family. After Snow World there was an arcade where I played air hockey. Outside there was a bullride, the guy pressed a button and the bull went crazy and you tried to stay on it. If you fell you lost.

Over Winter Break, I went on interstates and interstate-connectors 65, 440, 24, 75, 16, and 95 (it would take too long to go on interstates and interstate-connectors 85 20 285, 575, 675, and 475) in that order all the way to Hilton Head Island South Carolina! What happened was in South Carolina during Christmas I Animusic Two on DVD. I really liked it and I got some fun things to play with outside, like a stomp rocket, a skyblaster, some moonshoes, and a parachute ball. I even got a Derek blanket and it was green with blue cursive writing that said “Derek!”

I went to Iowa this winter break. They had 2 inchs of snow. I went with my Mom, my brother, my Aun,t my friend Kenny and his Dad. We went sleeding. We all got to to drive the snow mobile. We got to snow board on are sleds. Me and my brother Jake got a wii. Me my brother and our friend Kenny, We made an igloo and a huge snow wall. We sang Christmas carols and played pingpong and talked with my grandma.

What I did over the break was…Well I stayed home for Christmas and I went away to Rock Island for the New Year. I played my game boy and the Wii. My favorite Wii game is Smooth Moves. My friends Olivia and Mary were there with me and my friend Emma. We also have Halloween too. The Mays were there too.
We also went to see Alvin and The Chipmunks two times it was really funny. We also played the wii and my favorite game was Smooth Moves. Some boys played Star Wars Lego. My favorite part in Smooth Moves was the dancing part.

This winter break I stayed home. Most of the time I woke up at 11:00 a.m. I went to my grandma’s for Christmas and got a lot of presents. I played with my baby cousin Thomas Paul. My aunt got me a wii for Christmas I had a great time at my granny’s we made a lot of cookies and did lots of things. I had an awesome winter break.

The first week I stayed at home with a baby-sitter. We played on my wii sports; we did tennis, bowling, baseball, and boxing!! We hid in my tent with my dog. We had some crayons and she drew a doggy for me! We did lots of snow dances! I mostly woke up at 9:00p.m. We made hot coco!! I had an awesome winter!

Over winter break my aunt and Grandmother came the day after Christmas. It was so much fun! Also my mom’s boyfriend’s son had more than a couple sleepovers! My friend Emily had a sleepover too! I had basketball practice also. I went ice skating alot also. My main best part was church and rollar skating. I went to go see Alvin and the Chipmunks.

I went to New York for my sister’s Birthday. I was in a wheel chair. My family went to Wicked. It was okay but it was not the best I have ever seen. My sister got a handbag, but she could not choose between a red bag or a brown one.

On Christmas eve I was SO excited! I wondered what I’d get. Its about 8:00 PM and I wanted to go to bed early ’cause Christmas would feel sooner. So I went to bed at about 8:15. It was about 6:00 AM when I got up so I took a shower. I stayed in there for about 30 minutes. Then I went downstairs!

Well my mom took me to Miniature Cottage, which is a doll house furniture store. They have everything you can imagine. I got a couch, two pillows and a rug. I went to Alvin and the Chipmunks. It was my second time seeing it but it still was great. My favorite part is when Dave gives Simon Santa’s glasses: it is so cute. My other favorite part is when Theodore said “fire in the hole.” My two sisters came too; their names are Brooks and Taylor.

This winter I went to New Hampshire and had a lot of fun skiing. I fell a couple of times but I got right back up. I went to Canon and to Vermont to get some big hills, Garys and Willow Run also. The black diamonds I went on were really tough. And I got a scrape on the way down and my friends Ella and Skye where way ahead of me.
Me and my Dad also rented a room at the Gale River motel. It was a lot of fun because there was a big yard that was full of snow. We, me and Ella, also my dad, went to a park and there was a huge hill. Me and Ella, well Ella, went on a long sled and I held on to the steering in the back so I could be connected to her sled. I was on a saucer and so when we went down
the hill I went backwards. She went back just like me then she fell off her sled and I kept going!

Over winter break I went to Greenville, S.C. and saw my grandma and grandpa. I got a Wii for Christmas and played it all break. I also got an electric guitar and rocked all night and before I went to bed I got an Elvis lamp. He sings “Hound Dog” and he dances with a guitar is that cool or what?

Over winter break I went to Springfield, Illinois. we went to see my grandma, grandpa, cousins, aunties and uncles. In the car going there we played on our Nintendo DS. It was a long way there, at least it felt like it. We had a party for my cousin. It was her ninth birthday and we had so much fun. I was SO SAD WHEN we left but I was happy to see them. It was the best time I ever HAD.

I stayed home over winter break. I had a really good time just sleeping late and all that. New Years Eve was great! We stayed up watching movies and goofing around. My brother David and I watched movies from the top bunk. We had a ’snack stash’. At 11:50 we went to the playroom. We turned the television on and saw the big crystal ball. I could not wait to see the ball fall. I thought about what people in New York thought about seeing the ball in real life. When it finally went down, I went to bed. The next day I rode my bike and my brother almost made me fall. That was my most fun-filled winter break.

Over winter break I went to my nana’s house and played on their wii. My favorite game on the wii is tennis. Also I started to play basketball. In my second game I scored a goal. My family clapped and smiled. It was my first goal in the season. On the last game our team played together after the game I had a playdate with Caroline. It was so fun!

I went bowling over winter break. It was really fun. I was in 2nd place; my best friend was in first. And Alyssa was in 4th and Katlin was in third. YAAAAAAAAAAAA!

Then we went to do skating. And took a picture together and Alyssa kept on falling down witch made Catlin fall then Kinsi fell then I did. Then we did bumper cars–it was fun! And we did laser tag and I won 2 times and that was all.

My winter break was great because I went to Miami. I went to the beach and to the pool every day. Every day we went to the beach and found shells. My sister always finds really good shells like shark teeth. Most of the time there were jellyfish in the ocean. But one time I went to the sand bar with my dad and my sisters.
The ocean was really warm so I would dive under the waves. The pool was either too warm or too cold. Most of the time it was too warm. Luckily I never got stung by a jellyfish. Another time I went to the sand bar with my cousin Sophia and her mom.That day there were some jellyfish but my cousin’s mom said there was nothing to worry about so I went anyway.
The pool was too hot but I didn’t care. I always watched tv on my bed. My sisters shared a room but I got my own room. sometimes I would watch tv so much my mom would have to come in my room and tell me to turn off the tv. But after she left I would turn it on again.
My grandma and grandpa were there. I would have brought my dog named Ozzy. My grandma loves boxes and everything else so she never throws anything away! Me and my sisters love to make quilts and other art related stuff. One of my sisters and I made fake cameras. My sister made a regular camera while I made a video camera.
It never ever ever rained. The sun was alwas shining. On the last day my family did as much stuff as we could. Before that when Sophia and Oliva came we went to the beach and there were lots and lots of sand dunes. We jumped into and onto the sand dunes. We jumped off of them and landed on our knees, butts and feet. Sometimes we even fell or landed on our tummies.

I went on a hike with my cousins for winter break. We saw LOTS of turtles and ducks and we also spied. We put shaving cream on my aunt’s nose and ate candy

I went to Arkansas and Missouri. I got mini football helmets and Madden ‘08 for my wii and for my Nintendo DS and a football and a Nintendo DS. We watched football and played football.
We spent the real Christmas in Missouri with my dad’s side of the family. I forgot to tell you I got flags for flag football! After we went to Missouri we went to Arkansas with my new football. I can throw it really far!

I went to lots of places over winter break, but one of my favorites was Universal Studios. It was awesome!!!! There were cool rides based on movies. One of the rides was based on Jurassic Park there were “dinosaurs” and at the end a t-rex and a BIG DROP, you feel weightless it is awesome!!!! I also went on a skeleton ride it was from Curse of the Mummy. It was dark almost the whole time but once the lights blinked the thing I could see was a line going up and then it went down and it was completely on stilt, no railings, no nothing aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, and then if that wasn’t enough we went on the whole thing backwards and the whole time I was in the very front!!! I also saw a movie set, a subway dropped, and we saw how they do “flying cars.” The cars did a little boogie, it was funny.
Another thing I did on winter break was I saw seals that were about to give birth; at first you think “where are they??” Because at first all you can see are “big rocks” but when you look closely they are seals and you can see yearlings playing in the water, they are just the cutest things!!!!

Finally we reached Atlanta after whet seemed a million hours. We stayed for 3 days. I really did not want to go after 3 days passed. We left on Christmas day. The streets were empty and the place looked deserted. No one was out.

On the first day of winter break I had to stay up all night. It was horrible, I couldn’t go to sleep. It last it was 2am we left to go to the airport. It took at least 45 minutes to go to the airport. We were there; at last we were the airport.
It was time for are flight. We boarded the fight to New York. We boarded for take off. The flight attendants told the passengers to fasten are seat belts. We took off quick and slick. It was boring at first but it got better.
After that fight we boarded to the other flight to Beijing china. It’s a 13 hour flight. It took off really fast. One hour in to the flight it got really boring. So I slept for an hour. Than after two hours every body was a sleep but me. I watched TV for one hour. And then I woke every body up. And we talked for three hours. It was really boring, no kidding. Four hours into it, it got better because everybody woke up.
There we were in China, for real. My feet were so tired. I stretched for my life and yawned for my life.

I was at my gymnastics sleepover party when all of a sudden the coaches shouted “IT’S TIME FOR DIRTY SANTA!” Dirty Santa is one of the most fun games that we do at the gymnastics party. So we all pulled out a name from the box to see who went first. I was number three! Three is my most favorite lucky number of all! Whenever I get three in games things always go good, so this means I will get something fantastic! So, then we started playing the game. When it was my turn I got this really cute duck, with big, bulgy eyes and a big long beak, it was so cute! But then it was this girl named Maya’s turn and she stole the duck from me! So I looked around and I saw this really cute stuffed animal dog. It was yellow, really fuzzy, and the dos ears covered up part of really big brown eyes, it was the cutest stuffed animal I have ever seen in my whole life. I knew I would get something I wanted! So I went to play around for a little bit. So I was playing with Hannah, and she was running towards me, and then she fell down and hurt her ankle really bad, the coaches thought she had strained it, but it was really just twisted. She still had a really fun time though.
When I woke up on Saturday morning I had to get up and go to my grandparents’ to celebrate Christmas. I put my luggage into the car, brushed my teeth and went into the car. I didn’t bother getting dressed because I knew I would just sleep the whole ride there. The reason I would sleep the whole way there is because I went to bed at 5:30 in the morning and had to get up at 7:00. The reason we had to get up at 7:00 was because it was a six hour drive and everybody was waiting on us to open presents and eat. So when we got to my grandparents house in North Carolina, my aunt and my grandma were outside to greet us. I was still asleep. When I woke up from the car ride I was being carried into my grandparent’s log cabin with a bunch of my luggage being dragged behind me by my mom. When I was set down I was being hugged by my uncle, my granddaddy, my grandmamma, and my aunt. I wasn’t big enough for all of them so they took turns picking me up and hugging me. We talked for a long time then, finally, it was time to eat! My grandma is the best cook I know. Everything is always so delicious I always want seconds and thirds, and sometimes even fourths, but very rarely do I ever have fourths. After we ate it was time to open presents!
When we open presents I always sit on the couch. It is very comfy. So, my dad and I passed out the presents to everyone. I went first. The first thing I opened was the exact thing that I hoed it would be. It was a reindeer webkinz! It was from my aunt and uncle. I told them thank-you so many times that I grew horse! Then the next thing I open is another webkinz! It was the seal webkinz! The second most important one I wanted! I used to only have four webkinz, but I got so many for Christmas that now I have thirteen! Also from my aunt and uncle, I got a circle paper weight-(I collect them)-with my name on it! It was one the best gifts I got! I also got a bunch of different earrings, some stuffed animals and nine webkinz.
It was New Years Eve and I was on my way to Molly’s house for her spend the night birthday party she has every year. This year we were going to have the party at the Montgomery Bell inn. We were going to watch the fireworks while we were in the pool. We were going to stay in a suite for the night; Molly’s mom and dad were going to sleep in one room while we stayed up in the other room. This was my second time being invited, and I was ready for some arguing. But this year we surprisingly did not argue. When I got inside Nora was already there, they were in Molly’s guest bedroom playing a game. After I put my stuff down I went in the room to see what they were doing. They were playing a game where they were in a ship and there were bad guys all around them trying to take their baby. It was fun but weird. I was one of the bad guys. Then fifteen minutes later we heard a knock on the door, it was Kirishma! Molly needed goggles so we had to go to target. After we went to target we went to the inn. On the way there Molly’s mom puked! Molly thought it was really gross. But she wasn’t sick she just hadn’t been eating that much that day. So we kept on riding until we got there. As soon as we got there we started decorating the place for New Years Eve! Molly’s mom had bought this huge New Years Eve kit with streamers, hats, balloons, loud noise makers, and stuff that said happy New Years Eve! Then, when we were done decorating we went to the pool. The pool was very warm. After we were in the pool for a long time, we went outside to the hot tub. In the hot tub we played truth or dare. After that we went back to the hotel room. When we went up to the hotel room we pretty much did nothing but watch the ball drop. BUT, THIS WAS HER BEST PARTY EVER!

After the winter break party at school, Max and Dad and I went to go see National Treasure. It wasn’t as good as the 1st one but it was still good. I went to bed early that night because the next day my family and I were going to Florida. We woke up the next day.
We got in the car and went to this place where they take your car and they give you a ride to the airport. When we got on the plane.
The beach was fun; we went in the water it was really cold. My brother Max made a sand castle. But then it fell down. Then he made it again but this time he made two walls. Then it never fell down again. The beach was fun.
Then we drove to my great grandma’s, and we had dinner there. The dinner was really good–she had ham, turkey, cornbread and this really sweet stuff. For desert we had chocolate cake and vanilla cake. That was my favored part. Then we all watched TV. We said goodbye and that kind of stuff.
The next day my family and I went to go play tennis. There is 5 of us 1 person had to sit out for 1 game. Then we went swimming. it felt so good to get in the water because we were so hot from playing tennis. I played with Max in the pool. After that we ate lunch and our cousin was there with his girl friend. I had a salad–it was good.
For dinner that night we went to this place where they had stone crab. It was time to go. We went to the airport then we left THE END e

On Friday, we got out of school. My mom picked me up and we got in our car and my dad and my sister were in the car. We were going on a trip to Atlanta then after two days there we were going to my dad’s parent’s house and then we were going home!!! When we finally got to Atlanta we went to the hotel and checked in. We went up to our rooms and we changed. After that we went to the mall and looked around I got a dress and a t-shirt. Then we went to a restaurant and we met our friends and had dinner. It was really good after we finished my sister went to sleepover at there house but I went back to the hotel. When we got up to the room I put my pajamas on and I got in bed and I watched TV. After a while I got tired and I went to sleep.
The next day was Saturday, we got up and we took showers and got dressed. While we were doing all of that my dad was going to pick up my sister at our friends house from the sleepover. When they got back we were all ready to go but my sister had to take a shower and dry her hair and get dressed so we had to wait a while until she was done. When she was done we went shopping all day it was so much fun. Then that night we went to dinner at this place called fifty-two seasons it was really good. After dinner we went to go look at my sister and my parent’s old house and then we went back to the hotel and put our pajamas on and went to bed.
When I woke up it was Sunday, we were going on another road trip to my dad’s parents’ house. My cousins and aunt and uncle were going to be there my cousins names are Amanda and Benjamin; he is in eighth grade and she is in college. It was a two hour trip but it only felt like thirty minutes (I guess it was because I slept most of the way). I woke up right when we were pulling in. My dad got out and got are bags he took them inside and then I got and I yawned and walked inside. I said hello to everyone and then Amanda came out she had been asleep. Then they all talked for a little while and then my parents left to go check into the hotel. When they got back we were just about to start dinner. We were having barbecue sandwiches; it was so good. Then everybody talked for a little while then everyone left and we all put our pajamas on and went to bed. The next day we had pancakes for breakfast–they were so so so good. Then my dad came and he had some waffles also and almost two or three hours later my dad said we should go get mommy so we left and went to the hotel and we got my mom and after that we went to the movies and we saw National Treasures Book of Secrets. It was sooooooooo good. After that we went to go get something to drink and we drove by my dad’s old high school. Then we went back to my dad’s parents’ house and we talked while we were waiting for our cousins to come back and then we would start dinner. When they got back we had dinner and then we had dessert I had pecan pie it was so good. Then we all talked for a long time then the parents left and my sister and my cousin Amanda watched some TV and then we went to bed.
The next day was Tuesday; we were going back to Atlanta because it was to long of a drive to go home it seven hours. When my dad came he said it was time to go so we said goodbye and we went to the hotel to pick my mom up then we left. And went back to Atlanta when we got there we drove around for at least one hour then we went to check into the hotel and we went out to dinner. We went to a Chinese place it was so good. Then we went back to the hotel and went to sleep. We were so tired from the trip. The next day we went home and my friend came over and so did my sisters friend there names are Elizabeth and Maggie. We had so much fun they got to sleep over and we hid from sister every time she walked away to get something. That’s the only thing we did on Tuesday. But it was so much fun.
Its New Years eve and we were going over to the Freedman’s and we had to stay home alone and our babysitters were scared: my sister Sydney and Rachel. And Alex and I were the ones who made them scared but it was kind of fun. And then we heard the doors open we were even more scared but it ended up being just our parents. They came home so they were there to be with us at midnight. When it was almost time for midnight we all went outside and we had poppers and things full of confetti it was so much fun and then we all went home and went to bed.

This winter was so much fun! I left school right after the party to go to Asheville North Carolina. On the first night we went to a restaurant with really good food but it took two hours to make the food. When we got back to the hotel we did Dirty Santa. My grandma, my grandpa, my cousins Holly, Amy, Chris, and Keith, my great grandma, my uncle Lee and his fiancée Debbie and my family played. First I got green tea and a tea set then somebody stole it from me. Then I got candles then my uncle’s fiancée stole those. Then I got some lottery tickets but my great grandma stole those. I ended up with cheese.
The next day we went shopping. Also, at our hotel there was the national gingerbread contest. They were really cool. One girl my age made Cinderella carriage and it was amazing. A lot of adults made houses that looked real. Some kids made a webkinz one and another one even made Hogwarts School of witchcraft and wizardry. They were the best gingerbread houses I have ever seen.
That night we went to the Biltmore estate. It has two- hundred and fifty rooms. In the kitchen there was a modal of the Biltmore in gingerbread.
They have at least a hundred Christmas trees there the main tree had five-hundred lights on it. That may not seem like a lot but the house was opened on Christmas of 1895. The house was so big that it took two hours to tour it. There were a lot of trap doors and secret doors in the house.
We got home from Asheville it was the day before Christmas Eve. We were just putting up our stockings. The day of Christmas Eve my sister and I were so excited. When it was time to go to bed we could hardly fall asleep. We couldn’t wait till morning!!!!
On Christmas morning we went down to see the tree but there were so many presents we could hardly see the tree skirt!!! In my stocking I got some stationary, a reindeer nose, body tattoo pens, a mini scrabble game, two Godiva chocolate bars, Godiva chocolate balls polar bear playing cards and a jar of jellybelly jelly beans. I got a story teller from my grandparents. I got a wii, the entire Harry Potter series, a husky webkinz, a pair of jeans, a sweatshirt and a USN sweatshirt from my parents. I loved everything!!!!
Sydney and Molly came over that day. They both brought their wii remotes. We had a wii tennis tournament. Thomas [molly’s brother] kept serving when people weren’t ready for him to. When we were done we went outside for a little bit. It was really cold so we all had hot chocolate when we came back in.
On New Years eve we had two families over. Abby is one of Hannah’s best friends. Molly and Thomas made a huge mess and they didn’t help clean up one bit.
The next day it took Hannah and I a long time to clean up. On New Years day I spent a lot of the day in bed reading my new Harry Potter books. My dad and my sister went on a hike but my mom and I were too tired to even move!!!!!
My sister and I spent most of the next few days mourning about how it was our last week of winter break. But on Thursday my babysitter took us to build-a-bear. We spent about an hour there. That night my mom told us that we were going to Birmingham the next day to see the Pompeii Ruins exhibit. It took about three hours to get to Birmingham. We spent about three hours there. The tour was really cool. They had a lot of plaster casts and molds; they found some old coins and jewelry. They even found a doctor’s tool kit!!!
It was our last weekend at home!!!!!!!!!!! We were so disappointed about having to go back to school. But it was a pretty cool break. After I thought about it I realized how much stuff we had done; the Pompeii tour; Asheville; the Biltmore and Christmas, and New Years. It was actually the coolest break ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I dreamt I was in Hawaii and we were going back and then suddenly I awoke! I looked at my alarm clock. 5:45 AM it said. Then I realized it was the day I went to Cancun! I got up and went to brush my teeth. Then I went to get dressed. I went downstairs and petted my kitten Hazel. She is so cute! Then my little brother and sister came down. We all got ready and then went into the car. Then we went to the airport.
When we were at the airport we went through security, and then went to our gate. Dad offered us some breakfast and boy I was hungry! Then we went on the flight to Charlotte (it wasn’t nonstop). I watched a DVD on the plane and 1 Hour later we landed in Charlotte.
Then we explored the airport a little. While we were doing that we checked out the shops and stores. Also we got lunch after we got on the plane. It was a smooth trip until the flight crew said “We have a problem with the air conditioning. Please stay in your seats.” By now I was worried. Then the oxygen masks fell! I now thought this was an emergency! Then we had a teeny descent until we were at the right level to take our oxygen masks off. I was relieved! Then we had a short flight back to Charlotte.
When we were in the airport they said that they would get us another flight to Cancun. But they canceled it! I was really mad! But we found a resort about 15 minutes outside of Charlotte called The Ballantine Resort. It had an indoor pool, spa, and a golf course! The food was great! I’d rate it a five diamond! Then in the morning we went to Cancun SMOOTHLY! When we were there we checked our bags and went to the hotel.
IT WAS HUGE! It had tons of villas, a playa (beach). Well basically it was a city! And when we went to our room (villa) we saw our grandmother! We were overjoyed!
The next day we discovered the pool had a waterslide! And it was fun! Then we had breakfast at Café Maya, resteraunt on the resort for breakfast. Then we went to Xel-Ha! A natural water park. I got to swim with dolphins, go on a Mayan river with an inner tube, and jump off a 30 ft cliff!
The next day we just stayed at the resort. Also we had fun at the beach. The next day I took a bike ride with my mom to the beach, and I got to play on the el Chameleon golf course. Also we had a New Year’s party at La Laguna grill & bar! The next day we went to Wet N’ Wild on New Year’s Day! The next day we hung out and played golf at the resort again! The next day we did the same thing. The next day we went to Xcaret, a natural waterpark and zoo. The next day we said goodbye and went back to Nashville on Frontier. And that was my story.

On Christmas Eve it was nine o’ clock I took me warm bath then I put on pajamas. I stayed till one o’clock am. I watched four episodes of George Lopez then I watched a Christmas movie. I went to sleep and when I woke up it was still on!!!
It was CHRISTMAS today when I woke up and I ran to the living room with enthusiasm and I said can I open up my present no not yet my mother said then I went back in the room.
5 HOURS LATER!!
A whole lot of my relatives crowded over into my grandmother’s house. We did karaoke and we ate and my cousins and I played outside and we played with some of our toys.
COUPLE HOURS LATER!!!

Everyone was leaving and my mom and I left also and we went over to her friend’s house and we played cards and I got to stay up late. That ‘s how my Christmas ended!!

My winter break was great! I got to see almost everyone on my mom’s side of the family! I got to see my cousins Josh, Ashley and Amanda, my aunt Jeanie and my uncle Mike! I also got to see my grandma and her cat Cocoa. My cousins Ashley and Amanda (who are twins) both babysit a girl named Laura and I got to see her too. Laura is two years old and her mom is in prison and always has to work for money, so Ashley and Amanda are kind of like “substitute” parents to her dad Laura. As for my other cousin, Josh, he just moved back from collage in Smyrna and everyone’s so happy to see him again. Everyone else has just been staying where they are and have not been babysitting lately. I am so glad I got to see everyone! I hope they were happy to see me again too!
Next I went roller-skating with my friend Will. I’m not the best at roller-skating, but Will ROCKS! We went skating at The Brentwood Skate Center. The Brentwood Skate Center has a lot of games that EVERYONE can play no matter how bad at skating they are! This is why I got to play all of them with Will no matter how bad I was at it! Even the Skate-Race! The skate race is a game where you race your age group across the rink and whoever wins or comes in second gets a glow stick which provides a free snack or drink! I tied I placed last! Skating is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Then I went to the movies and saw I AM LEGEND. It was a very good movie staring Will Smith (who is one of my favorite actors). It was about a cure for cancer that did cure cancer but it also created a new and worse virus. This virus was called V2 and it killed 60% of the world’s population. But it also turned 20% into corrupted mutants and those mutants got hungry and feed off of 19% of the population! This is where Will Smith came in. Will’s name in the movie was Robert Neville, who was a scientist in the military. When V2 hit America his wife and daughter were killed and Robert had become immune to it and thought he was the last man on earth! But he wasn’t. When the mutants almost killed him some other survivors came and saved him. Meanwhile in Robert’s lab a machine is automatically trying to find a cure and when Robert gets home with the survivors he realized that the mutants had tracked him down and all of them where after him now! And at the end there is Big fight between the mutants and the three survivors and Robert ends up dead but the survivors bring back the cure to a survivor colony and save humanity from extinction!

On January 1, 2008 I went on one air plane to Texas then I took a plane to New Mexico. Then we looked for the house we were staying at with my grandparents and cousins and aunt and uncle. When we found the mailbox we drove into the driveway there were two ways. We chose the right way and the car I was in got stuck in snow, then my dad and uncle went to see if this was the right house. When they got back they told us this was the wrong house. So we went the other way and we found the house.
The next morning my cousins, my brother, and I went out side to play in the snow. Then we drove to this place to go walking and see cool stuff. First we looked at models of the people who used to live there. Then we went walking and found three houses the people used to live in, cliff dwellings. The first house I went into was tiny, the second was my favorite. Then we went home.
The next morning we went to a skiing place. There was a long line to get signed up. When Taylor, Tanner, Kenyon and I got signed up we had to try on ski boots and then get skis. Are cousins and Kenyon and I got split up. Then we went up this tiny mountain. The thing that got us up there were these metal strings that had handles. I went down that tiny mountain like 15 times before I could go on a real slope. Then I saw the chair lift, it was easy to get on and off of the ski lift. When I did it was easy! Then we went on a kind of harder part. Then we went to get on a different slope. It was easy too, but it was hard to get to. Then we went to the place that we where we got our stuff to eat lunch. We ate spaghetti and pudding and it was good. Then we skied some more before we went home. Then it was time to go home we waited for my mom and aunt. Then when we found them and we went home.
The next morning we went exploring Santa Fe, and it was fun. We found all sorts of things like jewelry, and cool toy stores. The first toy store we went to was cool. It had voodoo dolls and cardboard faces. It was cool!!!!!!!! Then we went to an art museum that was all about Georgia O’Keeffe. Then we went to a toy store. It was cool and I got so much stuff.
The next day it was time to go home so we took the airplane to go home.

Over my winter vacation I went to Florida to see my grandparents: I was so happy to see them. After lunch I went swimming with my sister Mia. It was so warm.
Then the next day I went to the beach with my mom and my sister. We found a lot of cool shells.
The next day we went on the beach with a couple of friends and walked for a little bit and while we were walking I found 2 shark teeth. It wasn’t at the same time but I found them both on the same walk and same day. One was big and the other was small it was very cool.
Then a few days later I lost a molar and the next day I got 5 dollars.
The day before we were about to leave we decided to go on the beach one more time so we did and surprisingly it was warm so we went to the sand bar and went under a lot and we dived under waves and went really far out–it was so warm. I had a blast.
The next day we were all packed and we were leaving at 2 in the afternoon so we decided to see our younger cousins. We called them up and decided to go to Lincoln Road Mall and have lunch with them; the food was delicious. When we were done we said good bye and gave them a hug and left. I was so sad we were leaving.
One time my 2 sisters and I were digging a big hole so my little sister Mia could fit in it and when she got in, it clasped sand fell on her and she couldn’t get out so we had to dig her out and it took us almost thirty minutes to get her out. But at the end we were laughing so hard

Over winter break I went to Atlanta with my mom, my sister and my dad. We went to the aquarium it is United States’ largest aquarium. We also went to the Coca Cola factory there. My family tried to go to the CNN tour but it closed early and we missed it. We also went to an Indian temple in Atlanta. We also went to Global mall Global mall is an Indian mall.
At the Coca Cola factory we had some fun. We watched Coca Cola commercials. We also got to see a mini version of how Coca Cola is made. The really fun part was we got to drink as much soda as we wanted as long as they had it.
The aquarium had four sections each section was huge! I’m pretty sure we had a good time. The day we went to Global Mall and we had lunch there. For lunch we had an Indian meal; it was good! For drink we had Thumbs Up, that’s an Indian soda. My mom, my sister and I really like Thumbs Up.
My aunt, uncle and cousin came around Christmas time. That cousin is almost 5 years old. My cousin kept wanting to play chase and tickle the leader. How you play that game is you run around the house and tickle the leader when you catch them. I was always the leader.

It was Christmas Eve night and I thought that I would never be able to fall asleep so hope and I just talked and tried very hard to fall asleep but we were still too excited to go to sleep. Finally like an hour later I fell asleep. When I woke up the next morning I ran downstairs to look at all of the presents; boy, were there a lot of them! Then I ran into mom and dad’s room to wake them up (Hope helped me) then Grant came down and we went to wake up Grandma and Grandpa. They were already awake and Grandpa had shaving cream all over his face. Then everybody got onto the living room and we opened all of the presents. Here is a list of all the presents that I got. I got an American girl doll (Julie), a webkinz hippo, Pixar monopoly (it’s really fun!), electronic life (it came with a shirt), and a Fins gift card (Fins is this really awesome fish store I love to get my fish from). I got a really pretty ornament from my mom, 6 bags of chocolate coins, 2 new wii remotes, 2 new wii games (they are Shrek the third and wii play). I got an electric massager, this really cool tree for my fish tank (the fish love it), Julie’s holiday outfit, an American girl doll hair brush–and that is everything I got for Christmas!
After school on Friday we went to the airport to pick up my grandma and Hope from New York. When we got home we had dinner and went to bed. The next day was Saturday we just layer around the house and were lazy all day long. I can’t remember what we had for dinner that day but we had dinner and went to bed. The next day was Sunday and also the day that we were going to have our mini-Christmas with Grandma. The mini-Christmas with Grandma was really fun. Here is what I got during that Christmas: I got a really awesome and comfy sleeping bag (I slept in it that night), I got chocolate, I got some really comfy pajamas, I got a pair of American girl doll clothes–and that is what that I got during the mini-Christmas with my grandmother.
On Monday we went to school again and after that we dropped grandma off at the air port we said our good byes and let her go. Then we went home and did our home work and ate dinner and went to bed but I didn’t really go to bed. I read my book for a long time and I finished it so…I started another book! Then I got tired of reading so I went to see hope she was already asleep so I went back to my room and eventually fell asleep.
“Can we go and get my new fish today?” I asked my mother.” “Well we do have a lot of errands maybe after shopping.” “Okay.”so we went on through the day. it took the whole day to finish the errands. But in the end I got my fish. The 2 fish that I got are Mama Citrus and Eldorado. The reason that it is Mama Citrus is because a few days after I had gotten her we found out that she had laid eggs so awe are still waiting for them to hatch. The reason that we named the other fish Eldorado is because he is a Chinese golden algae eater and Eldorado means city of gold. I cannot wait until mama citrus’s eggs hatch.
I had a really fun winter break and I hope that the next one will be as good as this one. I got every thing that I wanted for Christmas. We went to see the Golden Compass which was really good. And I got to see my grandma!

Winter break I went to the Bahamas we have a house on an island called Elbow Cay. When we got to the airport we realized that are flight was delayed from Detroit. Oh no I said then we probably only have about ten minutes to get to are gate. Finally when are plane got there an hour late. But we had a plan that might work my mom was going to stay behind in fort Lauderdale and me my sister and my dad were going to try to get on the flight . When we got to Fort Lauderdale we only had 15 to get to are gate. We tried but we didn’t make it so we chartered a flight from West Palm. And we made it there on the 28th instead of the 27th.
Nicky said Jack let’s get to Munchies what I have to oil my bike don’t want me falling do ya actually that would be kind of funny he murmured. Oh do you I said. I finished oiling my bike when I realized Jack had already gone. I got on my bike and started pedaling as fast as I could. Jack was coming into sight now and I could see how fast he was pedaling. When I got up near him I bumped his back tire. He flipped over the front of the bike in his face landed right in the mud. Then Jack got up and pushed me of my bike into the mud. How does it feel he said and he got back on his bike. When he wasn’t looking I pushed him of his bike like he did to me then heard a cart WE JUMPED ON ARE BIKES AND RODE to Munchies. That day was a lot of fun.
But dad I don’t want to go to Nippers it always really crowded and it takes like an hour to get your food. Nicky your aunt and uncle want to. Oh sorry I thought it was just going to be us. Nicky yelled my mom get your bathing suit were going to leave in five minutes. Wow five minutes I still have to brush my teeth and get my bathing suit on. I ran into the bathroom as fast as I could. Got my tooth brush and brushed my teeth as fast as I could. Then I ran into my bedroom and but my bathing suit on and ran out to the front deck to get my snorkel gear ran down the stairs hopped on my bike and peddled to the boat. When we got to nippers I had a huge chicken sandwich it was good.
I had a great time in the Bahamas but its time to get going. It’s so hard to leave but I have to go back to school. When we got on the boat I said my last goodbyes as boated away. As soon as we got to marsh harbor I had to jump of the boat and get us a taxi after I did that we got to the plane and went home I was very sad.

This winter break I stayed in Nashville but I still had a lot of fun. On Friday afternoon, the first day of winter break, I arrived at Westside Gymnastics for a team sleepover. My friend, Hannah was about to start team and I was really glad she showed up, I also saw some of my other friends there too! I played with Hannah some and I introduced her to some people already on team.
At 6:30 we were all allowed to go out into the lobby to eat, the food was delicious! Everybody had to bring something for the dinner. I brought little two inch brownies from Harris Teeter. They had icing on the top that made it so good that I could eat another ten more! But I’m glad I didn’t. There was also macaroni, chicken, Fruit, and a lot of other stuff!
Later at 8:00 we played Dirty Santa! For Dirty Santa, I had gotten a really cute penguin that comes with a penguin blanket in its arms! Then somebody stole it so I went back into the middle to get another present and I ended up with a cute, really soft bear!
After Dirty Santa we had free time and played with our stuff for awhile. Then we played Flashlight Tag! Its like Hide n’ go seek, except you turn out all the lights and the people who are it have flashlights to find you.
After flashlight tag it was about Midnight, and we decided to play Steal the Bacon! There were two teams and what you do is, the coach gives you a number, the same number as someone on the other team. Somebody puts a block of foam from the pit. Then the coach calls out a number and both people on the two teams that have that number run of and try to get it back to there side. If you get it back to your team then you get two points, if you tag the person with the foam block you get one point, and you can wrestle the foam block from someone. My number was six and so was Nadia, we both had a really good time and my team won!
Later at one at 1:45 we built the big tower! That’s when we stack mats almost up to the ceiling and we jumped of into the pit. Except me and some other people did front and back flips!
At 4: 00 it was time to put our sleeping bags where we wanted to sleep. Nadia, Cassidy, Maggie, and I slept behind the vault, we took all the mats out and it was really soft, Maggie went to sleep while Cassidy and I watched Nadia play her D.S. After we watched her play Cassidy decided top go to sleep, so Nadia and I went to the pit and we stayed there all night.
We finally went to sleep at about 6:00, and when they woke us up in the morning it was 9:30 and everybody parents were getting here. When my dad got there he took us home. It was a really fun but as soon as I got home I slept until 3:00!

This Winter Break I did a lot of things. I had so much fun I got every thing on my Christmas list! On got Christmas Eve we were so excited to get up the next day. When it was finally Christmas my brother and I got up at six o’clock in the morning to open our presents! I got every thing that I wanted even …extra things! I loved my R2-D2 that I asked for. It was a really great Christmas! It was probably the one yet. So spent the rest of the day playing or opening! I really liked the candy my brother got me it was chocolate! I loved opening my stockings on Christmas Eve!
I tried on my Roller-skates and they fit perfectly! Since my mom’s birthday is on Christmas we gave her the card that my brother and I picked out! My dad gave her a…LOVE LETTER! Our mom loved our letter and our dad’s love letter! I loved playing with… my Inter Active R2-D2 except … when my brother broke MY R2-D2! So then now I have to wait in till the store gets a new order so that I can have a new R2-D2!
Last CHRISTMAS was the greatest EVER! My mom said that this was the best birthday ever! James was SO happy when he found out he had gotten more action figures then what he actually wanted! I liked all of my stuff too! After we finished opening our gifts we called our relatives and thanked them for our gifts and told them Merry Christmas! Then they all sang HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our mom and that was that!
On The 26th of December my brother’s god mother came to visit use! She hadn’t seen me since I was three years old and when my brother was one… that was …SIX YEARS AGO! My mom has known her since they were in collage! We had a lot of fun when she was here! She got electric Banking Monopoly and that took four days! My mom won. My mom had 67,900,062 Aunt Cynthia had 53,000,000 and I had 5,999,999 and my brother had 9,000,004! We also went bowling! I EON THE FIRST ROUND WITH 102 POINTS! Then the second round we played I got tired so I came out in third!
We also had a New Years Eve party! It was SO MUCH FUN! We had apple cider, danced we also watched the times square BALL!

It was the first day of winter break; yes I was so excited because my cousins were coming to Nashville to visit us. My mom and I had to go Christmas shopping. We got finished shopping at ten o’clock at midnight. Then we had to go home and do chores. It was tiring. After that I got to play the wii. Finally my cousins arrived. My cousin Braden and I skate boarded for awhile. It was fun. Then we had dinner. It was good. Then after that Braden and I played the wii. After that we ate dessert. Then we had to go to bed.
The next morning I got up and ate breakfast. I was really hungry. Then I went outside to skate board with Braden. Then Braden and I went inside to play the wii. A couple hours later we went to California pizza kitchen. Then we drove to Knoxville. Then we drove to my
Grandma’s house.
The next morning I ate eggs for breakfast. Later in the week I got to go to the skate park. It was fun! On Christmas Eve my mom and I drove back to Nashville. When we got home I got to open a present. Then we went to bed.
When I woke up I ran to our Christmas tree. There were a lot of presents under the tree. I ran to get my mom. I got her out of bed. Then we ran back to the Christmas tree. I tore open all the presents. Then at twelve o’clock I went to my dad’s house to open presents. After I played with all my presents I watched football with my dad. Then I went to bed.
The next morning I had pancakes for breakfast.

This winter vacation I went to Ohio for Christmas. On Christmas Eve I left out a note for an elf and milk and cookies for Santa. When I woke up it was time to open presents. Just then I remembered the note that I left out for the elf. When I looked in the big blue chair there it was! It’s name is Esmerilda. Her favorite food is chocolate chips and gram crackers. Then we opened presents. I got a dolls bunk bed. Then we had the breakfast my grand ma made. It was sooo good. We had turkey, corn, mashed potatoes and stuffing. Then we played a really fun game called Rumikube. Then at 5:00 in the morning we had to go to Washington D.C for the New Year.
When we got to Washington, D.C it was 10:00 am. My Deniss Achachan came to pick us up from the air port. When we got to their house we saw my Rachel mama, my Amachie, my Appachin and …my new baby cousin Priya!!!!!!!! I was so happy to see her. On New Year eve we went to my cousins Alisha, Varsha, and Joshua for New Year and for my cousin Varsha’s sweet sixteen birthday party. About 40 people were there. We got back it was 2 in the morning.
In Washington D.C. When I went downstairs there was Priya with her mom. While Rachel mama went to get Priya’s bottle I watched her. Then I got out one of Priya’s toys and she started trying to eat it! Just then Rachel mama came with the bottle and we fed her.

It took 2 days to get to India and 3 planes. Also we went to this place called snow world and it has snow inside the building. And then we went bungee jumping and go kart racing and we also bought new drapes from India.

I stayed home but my dad’s side of the family came for Christmas. We went ice ice skating and we did laser tag! I think my favorite present was a new catcher’s mitt

For Christmas I got new gloves and I got an iPod. It’s white. And I got a laptop, an Apple! I got to visit my nana and papa in Bowling Green. I got to see my cousins and they live in Bowling Green, too.

I went to Opryland. I watched a Christmas pageant and got a new stuffed dog. I also saw the LSU/OSU game. I saw the Independence Bowl. I played football with Patrick and my neighbors. I grew a mini-ponytail. I also got new shoes. And I hung out with my brother. And I got an iPod nano! I also got a iFlop that you can listen to music on. And I got 20 CD’s. And I also got an AC/DC and VanHalen CD. And I went to Memphis and played baseball there.

I got a remote control airplane from Santa and a remote control car with a real FM radio from Santa. Santa went so fast that he forgot to put stuff in his stocking!

I celebrated Christmas. I went to Pennsylvania and then to Virgina to visit Samantha (a baby). Then I celebrated the New Year. I stayed up late and banged pots and pans on the porch. I did that with Uncle Mike. My Uncle Mike made me cheer for the Redskins.

My birthday was just before Christmas. My grandma visited and my grandpa and they were going to leave on Christmas Eve and they decided to stay for Christmas morning and I woke up early and saw what was in my stocking and I saw a USN tiger!

I went sledding in Peaks Island, Maine with my cousins and I hit a jump and my face landed in the snow! When I got there my cousins made a snowman for us. Santa dropped some sleds off at the house where we were staying. I opened my presents at my house so I didn’t open presents there. My favorite present was probably the Ripstick!

Winter Break was Awesome!

For Christmas I got what I wanted a Telestar Telescope, it`s Awesome!!!!!

Over winter break I went to my cabin in Hoenwald with my cousins. We had a bonfire and fire works. I also taught my baby cousin how to laydown with his older sister (he was cute). I went in the hottub and witled a stick big stick and rode the tractor.

This winter break I went ice skating, on an adventure on my own with a few friends but no parents in my neighborhood, I also went out to dinner about fifty-thousand times and had as much fun that a girl can have! When I went to Sunday school I got an A+ and an A so I got 100% and 99% it was awesome! I wish that I could do it all over! But I am sorta glad to get back to school but just barely.
I got to go to all my favorite restaurants, too. I played at the park near my shelter{house}And just had soooooooooooooooo much fun that I never wanted to leave an you can not guess how many play-dates I had! I had one with my great friend Sophia, who I met during the break!

For Christmas I got a great gift. It was a trip to New Orleans (My aunt and uncle live there)! But the best part was that they had a new house that I had not been to yet. We went on a walk by the Mississippi River with their dog Sam. He is a half black lab half cocker spaniel. Sam walked in the river and got very muddy! We threw a stick in the water and Sam went to get it; he went in the water but he came back with a much bigger stick.

Over the winter break me and my family watched alot of movies! But no sleepovers or dates.
My family watched a movie called the Golden Compass! It was about a girl that went to the polar bear’s palace. But her soul was an animal. But they came upon a building that kills people. Then there was an army of soldiers. They were the bad guys. The polar bear killed most of the army. Then they lived hapily ever after.
At Christmas, there was a box that only had a note in it. That was Santa’s present. It said: dear Kaili and Kevin, go to the fridge if you promise to work together. So we went to the fridge. I saw a note that said: go to the fireplace. So we went to the fireplace. Kevin (my brother) found a note that said: go to your father’s underwear drawer. So we went to our father’s underwear drawer. Good thing it wasn’t dirty underwears! Then I found a note that said go to the sauna. So we went to the sauna. I spotted a note that said go to the Guest room. We went in the guest room and guitar Hero 3 for the wii and Tomb Raider, Mario Olympics, and mario galaxy for the wii was there!
I had a good winter break!

I went to see Junie B and a Little Monkey Business downtown. I liked when Patrick started crying. I celebrated Christmas. One of my favorite presents was moonsand. You put it in a little holder and you put in something flat and when you take it out it makes an animal!

I thought the movie was edicational and fun, it taught me a lot and it had good ideas.
