2007 Spring Break Posts!
Hello 3rd and 4th graders and their parents and friends!
We all did some pretty cool things over Spring Break this year. I took my two kids down to Disney World for a week of fun and frolic; but that’s not the point of this blog. The only reason it is here is to provide a place for my students to post comments describing how they spent their own vacation time. Whether it was a trip to the beach or hanging around the house, we’ll hear about it right here. 4th grade students will have just one class session to complete their post, so let’s get right down to it!
By the way, these posts are the result of an on-the-fly, first draft with a quick edit, process; they are not the usual Writing Process (1st draft, edit/revise, publish) procedure usually used in 4th grade writing. Once students felt finished, I simply helped edit, and very quickly. I hope you enjoy the results as much as I do!

At first I thought the first day of spring break would be a bummer because my dad wouldn’t wake. At three o’clock he finally got up, so we could go somewhere. First we went to Chuck E Cheese’s, and we got 312 tickets. We could’ve gotten more if we hadn’t played this firefighter game which we used about 20 tokens on, but the game was worth it. Then we went to Burger King. After that I was stuffed. I ate 12 chicken fries, a few fries, and a medium soda. I thought it was it, but my dad had a surprise for me, he eventually took me to Krispy Kreme Donuts. I only ate one because I had eaten too much.

This spring I went to Switzerland the first week I went to Basel. My grandma lives in basel we stayed with her. We went to the verkers museum which means the traffic museum. When we were there we saw scooters and we could ride through the museum. They had a plane section, a car section, a train section and a boat museum.
The second and third week (I had 3) I went to St. Moritz and skied, at the very last day I did a 180. There were two races and I got bronze and silver.

During my spring break I moved to a new house in Brentwood on Saturday we started loading boxes into a truck. Then we dove over to the house and unloaded boxes my brother and I went and got our miniature tractor and started to take stuff to the garage and attic. We went back to the rental house and slept there for the night. The next day we moved our beds to our new house. We slept at the new house that night. The rest of the week did pretty much the same except on Sunday Robert came over and we had alot of fun.

During my spring break I played in a championship. One team forfeited so we got to go to the finals, but we had to play the Tennessee ladies. They are really good, we couldn’t beat them the first time.
On Saturday 3-24-07 my sister Molly had a soccer game. Whenever she plays she never scores, but she almost did this game. At the end of the game the score was 2 to 1 Mollys team lost, but did really well.

Over spring break I went to Florida. It was about a nine hour drive to get there. On the way to Florida we got side tracked for about a hour. Because somebody either told us the wrong directions or we didn’t understand them. But finally we got back on track and from there it only took about an hour to get to the place were we were staying. The first day when I was there nothing out of the ordinary happened, we went to the beach, had a good lunch every thing was fine. But on day two we saw a small jellyfish we also went shell hunting which we had a great time doing. Then on the third day we still went shell hunting but then we saw a huge jellyfish about 10×12in. Then every day from then on nothing else to report except we still went shell hunting except on Friday. What happened was I had a allergic reaction to the sunscreen. The sunscreen had nut oil in it, and I’m allergic to nuts! Oh and I forgot to mention that we took our dog to Flordia too. On the way back it only took about seven hours. It took so much less time because we knew how to get back without trouble.

For spring break I went to Lake Louise (Canada). When we were there we skied almost every day. It was so much fun I went off every jump i saw.

During spring break I went to Turks and Caicos. I snorkeled I dived I went to a conch farm and I saw geckos and anolies. When I was snorkeling I saw a barracuda and giant lobster. When I was diving I saw a sturgeon and a turtle. When I was body surfing there was a wave that could eat a horse and it ate me. I saw geckos, and at the conchfarm our guide’s name was Denver he was cool

What up, all spring break I stayed in town and I relaxed.
I played on the computer and went to Tai Kwan Do for 12 hours in 5 days. I got a wii and played and played and played.

On spring break I went to the Colony in Florida. It’s a place to play tennis. Not just tennis though. it also has a beach, a fishing dock, a pool, and a restaurant called the monkey room, because it has paintings of monkeys on the walls. It also has a fancy restaurant, a grocery store with good ice cream, a little racquet ball thing, a store with clothes, and much more. My sister and I went to Kids Kamp a few times. It’s a thing where you go to a place, sometimes you go play games on the beach, play games, etc. You can stay in their hotel, or in rooms in houses, closer to the beach, with a kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, porch, and a TV. At night, the kids go out and play on the beach. The Colony is awesome so that’s why we go every year.

What’s up, my homeys on the web? This “piece of literature” is about my fantabulous spring break. I went to Park City, Utah and my trip was filled with fun, adventure, skiing, and lame commercials!
The first day we flew in to SLC but spent the night since my stomach doesn’t tend to agree with the altitude. The next night, my friend Elena and her family were going to drive from SLC to Park City to meet us at the house that we were staying in. Around eight o’clock we received the news that Rafa (Elenas’s dad) was lost. His GPS had told him to drive to the town of Lehi. (pronounced Lay-heee) This town called Lehi was actually off of an exit in the highway to Las Vegas. After that, whenever Rafa drove to the mountain we joked, ” Whenever you start seeing slot machines, turn around and go straight back!”
The first day we skied, Elena’s little sister Marina collided with a bush. Fortunately, throughout the week our skiing got better and better. Our second day, we had a lesson with an instructor named Dominic (my mom thought he was cute) he was an awesome skier, he even did a 360! During our lesson we had a snowball fight and we pegged another instructor. I loved my lesson, Elena and I chilled with a girl named Katti. (pronounced Kettie) one guy in our class admitted that he used the “cheesy line” on his girlfriend on Roomscape. We got his brother to tell us what “cheesy line” he used on his girlfriend. He said it was, “Did it hurt?” “Did what hurt?” “When you fell from heaven.” So, as the day progressed we kept yelling, “Jake used the cheesy line on his girlfriend!”
One of the funniest things on our trip was what we called “the underwear tree”. On two lifts, Payday and Three Kings we saw beads and thong underwear on the trees. the most beads and underwear were on the Three Kings lift. One tree on that lift was covered with underwear and random objects. There was everything you could imagine. Bras, underwear, even ski boots! Dominic explained that on Mardi Gras people grabbed beads, and random things from their closets and threw them on the trees while they were on the ski lift.

Over spring break my parents had planed to go to north Tennessee for a hike, they wanted us to go to the place we went because the trail had many waterfalls that were cool, but we were shocked to see on are third water fall didn’t have a streem at the bottom!!! Though it did have a little cave below it!
We put down are thirty pound backpacks and stared in awe.
We went down to the cave to find out that the water fall naturally went into the ground. My dad thought it was so cool that we immediately got out of the cave and set up camp 100 yards away from it.
1 day later we got up and went home.
And the rest of break was relaxing from the 4 mile hike.

My mom’s 40th birthday was over spring break. We celibrated it by serving her breakfast in bed. Later that night my dad made dinner and we invited a few of my mom’s friends to eat with us. We ate spaghetti and meatballs. I made pecan pie and my dad put a a few candles in it. My grandparents had been living with us for a few months and they ate with us, too. My mom is now 40.
I saw my friends during spring break, too. I saw my friend Brittan a lot. I slept over at her house and the dog they were pet sitting slipped out of his collar and took off into the woods. I helped them look until my mom came to pick me up. They still haven’t found the dog yet. I also played with my friend lucy. Our families ate dinner thogether for Saint Patrick’s Day at a Chinese buffet. we played the claw machine while our parents set up a time for us to go swimming together. She won grabbed a stuffed chicken and dropped it in the hole. Then I tried and I won a stuffed duck. It was so amazing because no one ever wins, but Lucy and I won. Later that week Lucy and I went swimming together at the YMCA. When we were finished swimming we bought a snack and some lemonad. I also talked to my friend Lila on the phone. Brittan and I went to the popcicle stand down the street from my house and ate some popcicles.
On the last day of my spring brake my grandpa went to his doctors oppointment after recently having colen surgery. My grandma had a doctors appointment, too. After all the doctors appointments were finished we drove my grandma to her hair appointment. She got a perm. While her hair was geatting fixed up, my mom and I went to the bakery and bought muffins and drinks. We ate our snack on the steps near the bakery. When we were finished with our snack, we shopped around the area and then picked up my grandma from the hair salon. Her hair was huge.

Over spring break I went to a little town in New Hampshire called Franconia. In Franconia there is a ski resort called Cannon Mt. and it had the very first aerial tramway in North America. I took the tramway that they replaced in the 70’s.
This time was the secound time I used my atomic skis. The atomic ski comapany is the best ski company in the world. Bode Miller won the world cup in 2005 on atomics.

Over Spring break I went to Kentucky Down Under, its a 2 hour drive. I saw lots of birds, walibies, kangaroos, sheep, and lambs. I got to see a dog heard sheep into their pen, and I got to feed a lamb. I also got to feed birds, and 2 of then went onto my sisters arm to get the food she held out to them. The last thing I did was talk to a parrot and buy a key chain.
After I left Kentucky Down Under, I looked at the pictures my mom took and had supper. and played with my key chain.

Over Spring break I went to Park City, Utah. But before we went to the airport I was picked from a LIMO!!!!! When we went to Utah, I saw people skiing. I wanted to ski but, I was going to take lessons tomorrow (I was going to ski for the first time.) Anyway On the second day I skied so well I went from level 1 to level three ( nobody can do that.) Then on the last day even though my parents were still on level one we went to the Payday lift and skied all the way down. After we had lunch my dad and I went on Payday again and then we went higher up to Bonanza.

Over Spring Break I Went To Aspen Colorado And Took Skiing Lessons. By The End Of Skiing I Was Doing Blue Runs! And There Was Lots Of Ski Runs Like… Dawdler’ Scooper’Funnel’And Little Makaha A Snowbording And Ski Trick Park. I Did One Railing…And That Was It. Then We Went To Krabloonk Dog Sledding! And That Was Really Fun! The Dogs Were Really Strong! And The Sled Was Really Fast! But The Snow Got Kicked Up In My Eye! But Still It Was Fun! After We Had A Great Lunch At Krabloonk Restraunt And Then We Went Home . It Was A Very Fun Vacation! And I Want To Go Back Again!

On spring break I went to Folly Beach, South Carolina near Charlston, South Carolina When we were there we saw the aircraft carrier the U.S.S Yorktown. We also went to a Union fort in the civil war. And we went to two cotton plantations. When we got back home I ordered a new video game, Pokemon Diamond verson. That same day I went golfing with my dad and I played with my best friend. The next day I went back to school.

Over spring break I stayed at home. I played games on the computer like Club Penguin and Runescape. I also watched some shows on TV like March Madness. I went bowling and ice skating, and I played mini-golf.
One day my sister slammed my foot in the car door and it was sore and it hurt. I had to soak it every day.
I also read biographies on Muhammad Ali and Malcolm X.
Overall my spring break was pretty good.

For spring break this year, my family went to Gulf Shores, Alabama. We stayed at “The Beach Club”, where we had stayed once before. It’s very nice.
There are six pools (5 outdoor and 1 indoor.), five hot tubs (all outdoor) and it’s right on the beach.
The room we were staying in had 4 bedrooms (each with it’s own bathroom), a kitchen, a living room, and 2 balconies.
On an average day, we would get up and go for a walk on the beach. After that we usually went to the outdoor or indoor pool (but my sister only got in the hot tubs ’cause she’s a wuss!).
One of the nights, we went out to play minature golf, the same exact place that we went 2 years ago! The next day, I got a hair wrap, and that same evening, we went to an amusement park. While we were there, I played a game called bumbper boats, and raced a car on “The Rookie Track”.
We got back on a saturday. The next day I had two soccer games.
I was very tired, but it was definately worth it!

My family and I went to our lakehouse in Florida over springbreak. I made my dad a paper mache mask for his birthday that looked like a killer robot ant.
Then we went to the beach for a few days. I went boogy boarding and the water was very cold. I also got a new kite that has two handles so that you can steer it.
Then on the way back to Tennesee I played gameboy and got a Shelgon, beat the Elete 4, and made it to battle frontier. On a T.V in my game it said my friend was not doing too well on his, so I thought that was good.
Finally I got back to Nashville and went to one of my other friend’s house. We played Super Smash Brothers which I am one of the best people in the grade at it.

Over spring break I went to the beach with Jessica, Nicholas, and my family. We went to the beach every day and caught 13 jellyfish. We met two girls named Danielle and Hailey, they were very nice. On the last day we found 1dead fish,1crab shell, 14 jellfish, and 1live fish.That was all the exciting things that happened on our trip.

For spring break I stayed home and played my Pokemon games and grew one of my Pokemon to level 100 and got a Lego Star Wars Ark 170 Starfighter. I built it in less than one day and then added it to my collection. I am stronger then Jay in my Pokemon games because I have 10 times stronger Pokemon then him. I am going to order Pokemon Diamond soon. I was hoping to get a Nintendo Wii because I was supposed to get one for my birthday but m dad couldn’t find one.

Hello,
I went to the beach, I know what you’re thinking, “it was really fun” well it wasn’t. We had to work on the new house ALL spring break.
When we did finally go to the beach my brother, Bobby BUSTED our ball, we only got to play with for five minutes.
My mom had to drive the boat AND navigate to a lot of places THREE times all of the times there were WHITE-TOPS. So Bobby and had to work together TWO of the times to drive the boat because our mom was was WAY to scared. It was probably the only time I have/will work with Bobby.
If that isn’t enough I learned that I am going to sleep-away camp this summer.

On spring break I stayed home and played outside and some video games. On Friday I had a game but we lost. on Saturday I had another game and lost. On Sunday I was supposed to have two games but one of the teams dropped out because they were scared of us. The next game we lost to the same team that we played on Friday but it was a very close game.
On Sunday after the game I had lunch with my grandparents and my aunt and uncle at a bbq place then went home because Chico had not been out for a while.
When we got home I listened to the voice mail and Metta had called and asked if I could come over because our riding teacher was going to be there at 3:30 and we had arrived very early so me and Metta had time to play. Then I we went to the barn and groomed the horse. Then our riding teacher was here and he cut their hair and then saddled them Magic up but at that time it was time to go but I had only 5 more minutes because it was a school night and we had to go to the grocery store.

My aunt and uncle came over spring break, and we got to sleep in every day! We stayed in Nashville, but did lots of interesting things. My aunt and uncle didn’t come till late Tuesday night, so my dad took Louisa, my sister, and me to the park, and then we went for ice-cream.
The next day, We went to Percy Warner park, and hiked a two-and-a-half mile trail. On Wednesday, Aunt Carol helped us make rice-crispy bars while Geofrey, our two year old brother, napped. On Thursday, we went to the zoo, and there were long lines everywhere, even for the bathroom. In other words, the zoo was a zoo. The next two days, we did literally nothing. on Sunday, we took the two hour trip to the Space and Rocket Center. It was HOT!!!!!!!!! We didn’t have a very busy break,but we sure had a lot of fun!

Over spring break my family and grandparents on my mother’s side stayed in San Fran for a night then went to the Big Island in Hawaii. It really did not look topical in most places because it was all black lava rock with long grass that had grown on top of it over the years.
The food was amazing both in San Fran and Hawaii. In San Francisco It was the Italian And the Chinese in Chinatown that was good, and in Hawaii it was the coffee, tropical fruit, and macadama nuts.
I discovered that lava was very cool after 5 hours of rock hopping over hard lava to see lava pouring in to the ocean creating new land.
Scuba diving was very fun though it was hard to get a licence over winter break, practicing drills. It all payed off though in Hawaii. The reefs were amazing and we saw cool fish such as flounders, sharks, Hawaiian helmet shell, a something Devil fish, octopai, and mantarays. Snorkeling was nice too.
There were many other smaller things we did like kayaking, driving all around the Island, going to blacksand beachs,and having 16 hours of red eye flight time on the way back!

Over spring break, I toured Nashville and i played mahjongg (majongg is the traditional spelling and nowadays they call it mahjong) and I played computer games.
The place I toured was downtown Nashville! I walked from Vanderbilt University to this japaniese restaurant and I drank about seven cups of tea, and since the restaurant was REALLY big I could not find the restroom. So I asked and they told me to go straight down the hall and turn a left and by straight down the hall she meant one mile down the hall.
Mahjongg is a type of thick domino game and you have to have three three three three two for you to win. It is in a sense aisian because a lot of people in Aisia play the game and it has Chinese symbols on the dominos. When I played it I lost badly. It is “gambling” but if you don’t use money it is ok. We did not use money. We played mahjongg for five or six hours till midnight and i only won one time. It is really hard. It is not like normal dominos and it is not made of the same material.
Playing computer games was very boring because I played the computer games for easily two to three hours. It is bad for you also.
I also had this smothie that tasted horrible! It taste like cardboard but the good side is that the smothie had TONS of vitamins! It had a whole lot of B12 B6 and lots of other vitamins.

This sping braek, I went to Destin Florida. So I sleped on an island for a week! We drove for 8 houres from Franklin to Destin. Our hotel was called the Emerald Coast, or something.
When we got there, it was alraedy dark. My brother and I slept on the couch that folded in to a bed, but it was terrible. So we ended up sleeping on the floor!
The next day, we went to the beach, and it was right outside the door! We began to play in the water, but there were tones of jellyfish. So we ended up playing in the sand instead. that night, we went to a seafood resteront. Well abfiously.
The next day, we went to a suvniar shop. I bought a necklace with a shark tooth on it, my little sister, Jessica, bought a box of saltwater taffy, and my little brother, Brody, didn’t get anything. He got his stuff later. That night, we were planing on going to Chile’s, but Brody wanted to go to Olive Garden, but the wate was 30 minutes! So we went to Sonic instead.

What’s up. I’m going to tell about my spring break. Over spring break I went to Myrtle Beach, in South Carolina. I lost my glasses and never found them. We had great time! Accept the fact that I lost my glasses.
When we went out to eat our waiter noticed that my glasses were broken.
Two of the nights we watched movies! I don’t have a great memory so I don’t remember what the movies were.
While we were at the hotel I went swimming and met new friends.
When we went to Walmart to buy food. My dad is a great cook.
On the 2nd to last day we took family pics on the beach.
On the last day we went souvenier shopping, I bought some hats, shades, and clothes.
On the way back I slept 6 of the 11 hours.
My cousins were in town so my brother and went to see them, in my brother’s new car. We only got see them for two or 3 hours, in that time I found out that they had wii and we shot some hoops.

Over spring break I went to Virgin Falls on a backpacking trip. While I was there I saw lots of trees, there was even a cave. Me and my sister Carolyn both picked up sticks and took them home. I also made moldable mud clay (available at Connor’s house for $0.50 a bag!!!) and ate some of my favorite dinners.

Over spring break I went to L.A., California! I visited the Universal Studios and went on a freaky tour that had collapsing ceilings, real fire, gigantic King Kong, flying cars, moving walls, mummy shadows, bats, squirting dinosaurs, and other creepy things I don’t remember. Then I almost won a water gun game but I won second
place. I also went to the American Girl store 2 times and got two dolls, 6 outfits, and one dog. Back at home I had a practice session for my harp concert and made beds for my new and old dolls. And that’s what I did over Spring break.

Over Spring Break I stayed here at Nashville but I had lots of fun!
I went over to my friend’s house next door a lot of times and we both had lots of fun cause we watched TV and we played outside. I also watched him played his Pokemon game on his Nintendo DS. Also I had a lot of fun cause I went to the YMCA ( I live near one). I played pool with my dad and I played ping-pong with my mom and dad. I also played air-hockey with my mom and dad.
I also had a lot of fun cause I went bowling. And after that I ate at a very good Japanese restaurant with my bro and mom and dad. I watched a lot of movies!!!!!!!!!!!!! One of them was Eragon! I also watched TV and played Computer. Oh ya i forgot… I played on my next-door neighbor’s Gamecube.

Over my Spring Break I went to Mississippi ware we toured historic houses because our friends (who came with us) had a dad who was a architect. and other than that I played Guild Wars which is a MMO/ online game. I also found out that I’m going to Paris, Verdon, and Normandy!!! Apparently I’m going with 30 women who are 21-91 so I’ll be super young compared to them and I’ll be the only guy there. Which really kinda stinks. But hey at least I get to go!!!

Over Spring Break I went to Iowa to visit my Grandma and Grandpa. They live in like an apartment with a lot of other people. In the place were they live they have, but don’t own, a pool table and a 24 hour ice cream machine which I thought was so cool. Also when I was there we went bowling it was so much FUN! It was a blast and a

Over spring break I went to Mexico and as normal we had a problem. When we got to Mexico we whet through a security line, to check our passports , I had to show the man it and he gave us the shocking news my passport was expired!I wanted to scream! It was so scary he told us that we had to go back to America! But he let us through , now how do we go back !?
Finally our wonderful vacation in Mexico was over. We had to go home …I was in Tennessee and when we told someone they said it was NOT A BIG DEAL! The End

Over spring break just about nothing except get a wii. I played it alot. My brother got a mii to go pro in bowling.
The only thing too I did that I could consider fun was go to trivia night at Sam’s Sports Bar and grill and go see Robin Hitchcock at the Belcourt. That’s just about all I did ): it wasn’t that fun.

Over spring break I went to Snowmass Calorado and went skiing. We stayed in Sonwmass for five days. Including the one at the airport. That day was probably the longest day of my life. Here is what happened.
We were there early for our eleven o’clock flight and we had gotten seats after security. We were there in line for our flight and- “Flight 5645 service to Denver is cancelled do to Aspen weather, we are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, thank you and have a nice day.”
We ran to the ticketing counter and there were no flights till three forty. We were stuck in the world’s smallest airport. And for those five hours the couch was my best friend.

Over spring break I went to Crested Butte, Colorado for skiing. There were ski school levels from 1-7. I started out as a four and became a seven later on. When you become a 7, you can ski double black diamonds. I skied two double blacks. It was challenging but it was a lot of fun. While I was in Crested Butte, I tried snowboarding. I’m not really a natural if you know what I mean.
The old town of Crested Butte was never rebuilt. It looks like an old western style movie scene, except some of the buildings have been painted. I went to an art store there where I saw an original painting by Salvador Dali.
There were plenty of neat restaurants, but I think my favorite one was a pizza place. I can’t remember the name but you could get a clam and pineapple pizza! The atmosphere was really cool too. They had beanbag chairs that you could sit on.
There were other restaurants that I went to. I ate at a place called Pitas in Paradise, The Wooden Nickle and Slogar. All of the restaurants were pretty good, but nothing beats pizza. I went to Pitas in Paradise because I had really wanted a milkshake. They had Vanilla, Chocolate, Strawberry and Banana milkshakes. I ordered the Chocolate. I was always very tired when I left a restaurant. It seemed that I was always on time to catch every bus.
On one bus, there were a group of people just singing Christmas songs and stupid stuff. My mom, the bus driver, and myself were really getting annoyed. The bus driver kept turning the music up to see if that would make them stop. It didn’t.
Except for the bus thing, I was sad when I had to leave.

Over spring break I went to Canton, Ohio. I went to the Pro Football Hall of Fame and a sweet science center; it was awsome! When we got back to the hotel we went swimming, the other people there were like screaming their heads of. In the pool room they had a pool and a hot tub

The way home was really boring:(. We had nothing to do.

Over Spring Break I went ice skating everyday and all day. It was fun because I got to hang out with all my skating friends and I got to improve a lot! Also over spring break I learned double lutz the hardest jump right before double axel! I had a great spring break because of my friends and family.

Over Spring Break I went to Snowmass, Colorado to ski. It all started on Friday the 16th at 4:30am! We got to the airport an hour early and went through socriroty then we got some food at sat at our gate. After the plane finally took off we flew 1 hour and 40 minutes. We had to stop for 2 hours at the Kansas City airport and it was really really tiny!when we got to Denver Jonah (my little brother) and I were amazed at how big the airport was we took the train thing to the turmanal to get our luggage and the turmamal looks like it is made up of tents the roof looks like tents it represents mountians. After we got our luggage he took a bus to the car rental we got the car and started driving to Snowmass.
It took 4 hours to get from Denver to Snowmass the drive was so boaring and really really long. When we got there we went to our condo we stayed in a village thing it was different levels of condos and at the top the mountians and a place called Snowmass village it had shops and resturants. The night we got there we went to the village anf got our skis, boots, helmets, and polls. Then we went to the condo ate dinner and got into the hottub. The next morning Jonah and got on all our stuff and walked up the stairs to the montians for ski school.
I made some friends and picked up skiing very quickley and by the end of the trip I could go down really hard blues. The ski-lifts were really fun to go on!

Over spring break I went to Florida. On friday we drove to Florida. On Saterday we went to the beach. At the beach we our dog. On Sunday I went swimming. After dinner I play with the puppy. On Monday we went to the beach. Before dinner I played with the puppy again. On Tuesday we walked to the inlet. Then we played on the beach. On Wednesday we went sailing. We also had lunch at Water Way. On Thursday we went to the beach. On friday we went to Peanut Ialand. Then we went on a ride on a dingey. On Saterday we went home.

Over spring break my family went to Seaside, Florida. We went to the beach every day. I saw a lot of people from Nashville.
One day there were huge waves. There were also sharks and jellyfish. It was freaky.
We had a cottage called Dream Come True, there were two floors and my room was on the second floor.

On spring break my mom and me and my brother were at home and we bicycled. We bicycled to one house and they had kids and we stopped and played a game of basketball with them and bicyled back home. We did this every day. I got a new bike. It was a mountain bike. I tried the bike and bought it. On Friday my brother went to a chess tournament.
The same day a wasp came in my house. For two days it was in the house and on the last day it almost bit my mom. She took a book and started wacking. The wasp landed on the floor and she killed it.

Over spring break I helped my parents get ready for a big party we were having. We invited everybody in our classes. When we were done getting ready for the party I got to swim in the pond. At the party I had soccer practice and then we had a parents versus kids games. IT WAS FUN!

Over spring break I went to Chattanooga for one of my sister’s gymnastic meets. We went two days before and went to an aquarium. On the ocean side we saw really big saltwater fish like sharks and also some small fish! On the river side we saw otters and a butterfly garden!We saw some other seacreatures like king crabs and jellyfish. It was an exciting visit. We also went to a fun center and got to find things out about water currets and other water involving things. In the fun center we also got to go up a tall tower and mess with art. I had a great spring break!

For Spring Break I went to Los Angeles, California. I went to Universal Studios on the 7thday of vacation. I went to disney land on the 8th day of vacation faorite ride was Space mountain. I stayed at three Hotels and I swam in three pools. I got to go whale watching we saw sea lions, gray whales and we saw alout of Dolphins.

My spring break was awesome! I went to Orlando Florida. I went to the nickhotel!!!… It has a few water slides, a pool, a basketball area and a golf course. You can eat with Spongebob Squarepants. I had a bunkbed in my room.

During my spring break I went to Destin, Florida to visit my grandparents. It was lots of fun! I had donuts and chocolate milk for breakfast. One day we went to a zoo where you could feed the giraffes and pet the goats. My grandparents have a pool that I swam in every day and then I would sit in a chair and read for the rest of the day. On the way to my grandparent’s house you cross the Chakowatchi Bay. There are dolphins in it sometimes, but we didn’t see any. It was fun anyway though!!!

Over Spring Break I went to my grandmother ’s house and over my aunt’s house and I played playstation2 .And I shot 30 3pointers and I won the tournament and I got a silver trophy. And I asked for a REMATCH and I WON AGAIN I didn’t finish @1 35. IT WAS FUN!

For spring break I went to Atlanta, Georgia.
I got to go to the Georgia Aquarium and the Atlanta Zoo and saw a panda and a whale shark.
I got a sketch doll and a fat squishiy Hippo and I looked at couches.

Over spring break I went to England and France. My family and I flew
one a plane that was 7 hours. We sat in first class so we each got our
own T.V and had chairs that would recline. When we got England we took a boat tour of the city. Then we checked in to our hotel, ate dinner
and went to bed. The next day we went to the Eye. The Eye is a huge
ferris wheel in England, it goes one mile an hour and is amazing. Then
we went to lunch. After lunch we went to the Imperial War Museum. It
was fun looking at the war tanks. After that we took a walk by the
river.

The spring break tale: Two minutes before landing in Los Angeles, the air is hot in the airplane, I feel the plane tilting down in my ears finaly I land down on the ground now I can only wait to get off the plane and into the Californian smell in the air. You might think I am crazy saying this but only a true Californian could smell the air and know that you are in The Golden State finally I hear the seatbelt sign go off, I was so excited I could hear my heart beating, I want
to get off the plane but I am in the back,finally the other passengers start to get off the plane, now it feels like my heart is going to come out of my body. To be continued…

This spring break I went to Alabama and went to N.A.S.A (where my dad works. My dad had to go to a meeting and then I went to play at the park and then went to go get on a bridge (over a creek). Then we got to go to the building were my dad was at and then we went to my dad’s office and he gave us a quick tour and we got to see his apartment. Then we took a 2 and a half hour drive to Atlanta Georgia to see our cousins for 3 and a half days. I WAS SO SAD when we had to leave Atlanta Georgia. I thought it was so…cool when the road dipped back in to Georgia. My mom had to explain to me why it did that. We also saw a sign that said shark infested waters, BUT not there because it was just an ad to the aquarium.

On my Spring Break I didn’t do much. Pretty much all I did was play video games, practice basketball, go bowling, and eat pie. I almost went to my grandma’s house [which is in Alabama] if it weren’t for my brother’s Bar-Mitzvah planning witch is very boring hard work. We didn’t go anywhere but stay here in Nashville to do stuff. The only movie we went to see is “Wild Hogs” which is really funny. The video games that I played where called “Star Wars Battlefront 2″ and “The Sims Pets 2″ and they’re both really fun. My favorite is Star Wars.

Over spring break my brother went to Aspen Colorado. While he was there me and my cousins went bowling and we went to the Juelin’s arcade. When my brother came back from Aspen Colorado he gave me a keychain that says Aspen Colorado on it. That night me and my brother played on our Wii. The next day we got to go to our Aunt and our Uncles house and played with our cousins and their little baby. We stayed there for a while and me and my cousins were playing their video game called Star Wars.
Before we left we got to watch a movie called A New Hope. The reason we got to watch A new hope is because they loved it so much! After we finished the movie we got to go home and we played on our Wii and me and my brother played bowling.
In February my little cousin had his birthday at The Adventure Science Fair. While they where there I was at a soccer game and I had to leave early to go to his party.

Over spring break I went to Disney World but unfortunately I was sick so I missed out on Animal Kingdom and most of Magic Kingdom on the first day. But I got to go to Magic Kingdom a full day later on in the vacation.

Over spring break I went to the Nickeloedoen family suites hotel in Orlando Florida. I have never flown on a smaller plane than this one. When me and my dad got to the hotel we had to have these bands on our arms. They made me feel like a pet.
My room was right over the basketball court and pool! There was also a mall with an arcade and live shows every nite! You could also rent games from the arcade! At 4:00 every day they dropped 10,000 gallons of slime on everyone! When we went back to the airport our plane had been CANCELLED! We stayed at the HYATT that night. Since our plane was canceled we got two 400$ tickets to anywhere we want and 24$ for food!
That next morning we went to the gate and sat for 3 hours…Then it was finally time to board after 3 hours. When I got home me and my mom went to Chatanooga before we went to our hotel we went to Ruby Falls where there was a 200 and something high foot waterfall! Next we went to Rock City where I fit through the fat man`s sqeeze! The next day we went to the aquarium where there was a lizard with a removable tail!

On the weekend of springbreak I went to Chatanooga for state meet. And on Monday I watched Stick It. On Tuesday I watched TV. And on Wednesday I had gymnastics practice and did roundoff entrys. On state meet I got a 9.225, 9.050, 8.225, and an 8.450 for my scores!

In spring break of 2007 I went to Sanibel Island and played with my cousins. And got to see my grandmother also known as Meme (Mimi). I got sick but only for two days. I also met my six year old cousin’s friend called Aleck. Sophie is a very nice cousin. I also have a year old cousin named Molly and an 11 year old cousin named Kiki and we built awsome sand castles! They were HUGE! And really fun. We also rented bikes from a place called Billy’s bike rentals and ate at some awesome restaurants such as Schnappers, the Lazy Flamingo, and Traders.
There is also A VERY old Turtle Called MS.Turtle; sadly she moved and left and moved to a new place her old nests are still there. To get to Sanibel first you get on a two hour plane to Tampa bay then go on a two hour car drive in a Hertz rental car then we go up a huge bridge which is the tallest bridge in Florida, then we go across the causeway in which leads to Sanibel Island.

Over Spring Break I went to Atlanta,Georgia. When we got to our hotel, The Ritz Carlton, we went up to our room. I put the card in the slot, and I opened the door. “woo’ I said. Is this a suite? ” ”Yes,” said my dad.
We got back in the car and drove to the ESPN zone. When we were there I played this basketball game. The next day we went to the Georgia Aquarium. It was so cool. We got to pet some really cool sting rays.

For Spring Break I went to Boynton Beach, Florida for three days. My grandparents had just bought a new condominium that my family stayed at. After three days we all took a two hour road trip to Disney World.
That day we all went to Epcot for the rest of the day. We had dinnerin World Showcase, France. I colored my bread Rainbow and stuck the crayons in the bread. At the Magic Kingdom I rode on Space Mountian about 6 billion times. Over the time we had lots of fun.

I thought spring break would stink because Youssef doss was coming and so was Molly Pennington who never wants to go to the beach. We went to Watercolor, Florida. On the first day Molly and I went to the beach for about 2 minutes and then went to the pool. It was pretty boring. Mollys brother, Thomas and Dylan Pitt came to our condo for dinner. Molly and I were watching a movie on the portable DVD player. Dylan and Thomas kept bothering us.

Over springbreak I went to Alabama and Kentucky. I got alot of
Baseball tips from my Uncle Tom. I also jumped off 10 steps and twisted
my ankle And my cousin got a P.S.
I also learned how to throw a knuckleball. Then I went to a lake and swam in freezing cold water. And while I was there my cousin broke a window. In my first baseball game I tore a double off the wall.

Over springbreak I went to Rosemary Beach Florida. I saw alot of my friends there. We biked to Seaside one day. It was so much fun! We also played tennis and built sand castles on the beach.
Before we got to the beach we stoped in Alabama to see our friends. We stayed over night and the next day we left and we finally got to the beach.
The first night we went to this place that we went to alot; it’s called The Sugar Shack. The third day that we were there I fell off my bike and skinned my knee and hurt my toe really bad.

Over spring break I went to Rosemary Beach in Florida with my family. My dog came too for the first time it was so cool. I went to the beach every day and went in the ocean and I found some cool stuff on the beach. I would play frisbee on the beach a lot with my dad and sisters. Me and my whole family would go on the green area wich is a field of green grass and play lots of games we would also go to this place called the Sugar Shack and it has lots and lots of candy. We would go there every day. I love going to the pool after the beach the pool is so warm i play lots of fun and weird games in the pool. My favorite thing about going to rosemary beach is spending time with my family I always have a BLAST doing that so does my family. When we have to go back to Nashvile we are all so sad but were happy to be back home.

Over spring break my family went to Chattanooga. We saw Rock City
and Ruby Falls. My favorite formation was Ruby’s Drapery. We
stayed in the Chattanoogan it was really nice.
We also went to the Chattanooga aquaryum it was realy cool. When
we were at shark and stingray bay and my brother fell in. But
it was shallow.

This spring break I went to San Diego. We stayed in a big resort. It was very nice–it had: volleyball, tennis, basketball, a very very nice restaurant called Balleen (we didn’t go!),they also had another restaurant it was sooo good! We whent to the beach I: fed the ducks, picked up seaweed and I touched a jellyfish! We saw my mom’s college friend’s son’s couisin. She was soo nice we went to Legoland we went on bunches of rides; one was called Dragon Coaster. It was very fun and scary. When we got home we were so hot we went to the pool.

Over my spring break I went to Florida. I got to see two of my cousins and my best friend. I played lots of fun games with my family and friends. There were a lot of people that I knew there. Some friends some family. I loved going deep in the ocean with my Dad, we saw a jellyfish too! One of my friends spent the night with me and watched a lot of T.V. It was sad coming home but I got to see all of my family and my pets(my dog went crazy)! But I was also glad about coming back to school!
When we came back home we went to dinner with my grandparents and had a very fun and happy rest of the weekend! (I got to sleep a lot!) Thats what I did over the spring break.

Over spring break I went to Destin, Florida and Orlando. When we were in Destin I went to the beach and made a sand hole it was very fun. I went swimming and did handstand underwater. I stayed there for 3 days. then we whent to Orlando we stayed in the Nickoloden Hotel. I got slimed there. We went to Disney world. I got to ride on really fun rides. Then i went home and I had 2 days at home. I picked up my dog from the kennel. I had 2 days at home.

This spring break me and my family went to Chatanooga. First we went to the Children’s Creative Discovery Museum. Then we went to the I-Max theater and saw underwater sea creatures in 3D. The next day we went to the Chatanooga Aquarium. My favorite part was when we saw the butterfly garden, or the seahorses. The next day I went to gymnastics state meet I got 5th place all around!

Over spring break me and my family went to Turks and Caicos. Turks and Caicos is in the Caribbean. Every day I went into the ocean and the pool. We also went souviner shopping and I bought three souveniers. I bought a clay doll, a painting, and a metal lizard. We also went snorkling. I saw a fish the size of me! Also I saw a giant sea turtle that was eating seaweed. On the second to last day we went on a small cruise and we did some more snorkling and went to Iguana Island. There were a lot iguanas. I had a great time on spring break!

Over winter break I did alot of stuff. I went to Kentucky to see my cousins, I went to a sleepover, had a playdate, watched a movie, my parents went to Chicago (without me!). I did alot of stuff and it was all fun. I love winter break. I got a lot of presents for Christmas including a movie (RaiseYour Voice), earrings (three pairs), a beanbag chair (big and pink), and lots of other stuff. It was a great winter break!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Over winter break I went to Cancun Mexico with my family. We went on Frontier Airlines, and they had free TV with personal headphones. It was very boring, but then we got there and our hotel had dolphins! The next day we went to Cancun Interactive Aquarium. The sharks were getting fed and it was cool to watch, even though they weren’t very hungry. Then we went back to the hotel and I played my DS that Santa gave me. The next day and the one after that we played at the beach. Then it rained for the rest of the time, so we didn’t get to do anything else. But it was still fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
